I've bought my Countach and will be collecting in a week or less - so I'm not interested in this one. But several people have contacted me about getting a Countach, so maybe this will interest someone on here - Martin Ingham has a good looking Anniversary up at £45995, with 22000 miles and an unusual colour combo (interior is particularly eye-catching), it seems a very good deal. Most are over £60K now, so if this is a good car then someone will want to snap it up quick. Martin Ingham

I am 99% certain that Martin Ingham had that exact same car for sale a couple of years ago. He definitely had one in Bonsai Blue and there can’t be many of those.

It does seem an absolute bargain at that price – although you would have to factor in the cost of a re-spray/re-trim nicer colour!!! That interior is hurl

Each to their own. I actually quite like the interior TBH - it's different. Still prefer my cream piped red interior though yes

I couldn't find the car on the lambo registry though. Are the wheels kosher?...does anyone know whether the car is good too?

His Diablo VT seems sensible money too

The wheels certainly look right.

The wheels are right for an Anniversary. They should be OZ Racing split rims.

Ah - they looked like Gottis to me from the photos. I've mailed them for the chassis number - but then I also mailed Hairpin about the red car and received no reply....

The red one at the Hairpin Company ahs been sold. The apparently have a mint white one coming in but it will be priced at a higher level. I think the blue one looks lovely but I can't get up to see it for a few weeks now!

OK, perhaps I was a little harsh. I don’t think I could live with that light blue leather everyday though!

I'd go along with that Tom, but I would never want to use a Countach every day either laugh
You're call on Hagerty Insurance was right on the money by the way. They were way cheaper than anyone else and with a brilliant package. I was telling my friends at my local Corvette meet last night and they were amazed. I think Hagerty will be getting a few more calls now yes

Ingham did have the car for sale - the guy has chopped it in for another car.

Love the outside colour, the inside colour is absolutely hideous though and would have to go.

Glad I could help. I think Hagerty are going to do very well if they carry on providing the prices/service they have so far.

They probably got swamped with enquiries and realised it was a bit too cheap!

Hi I love both the interior blue and exterion PLEASE don't change the interior for cream and red pipping I think it is awful. Could you also if possible let me have the telephone number of the insurance company

Thanks

You've misunderstood - I said I like the interior on that car, but prefer the cream with red piping on my red Anniversary. Cream with red piping is awful? I think it looks superb:

Number for Hagerty Insurance is 08700 420 220.

Not surprised about the price hike though - that would have been the cheapest Countach around by a long way. Even the "suspect" seller on ebay wants £68K for his white crock - mind you he's got his head in the clouds yes

I have to say I prefer the red piping on yours. In fact all your car needs is ruddy great wing bolted on the back!
