You must have been very close to losing your licence as the probation period for new drivers is 4 years is it not? (i'm not planning on going anywhere near that! )

If so that means I'm already past my probation and didn't even know
But judging by how much in insurance I pay, I would think you've got to be looking £10/£15k++

cool - what the hell do you do for a living?
Im shocked that NU will underwrite, they just told me they wont quote on my new elise until im 25 (1 month away!) even though they insured me on my old elise at 22! NU are one of the worst for 'you must be 25 to drive anything' - although when I put that i was born a month earlier so just 25 their quote was brilliant, by far the cheapest, odd insurance co.!
