Basher - please allow me to dribble.

What an awesome prospect; an illicit romp in the stallion's stallion, full bore at 180+ through quite simply the best roads on the planet, gorging oneself on the hedonistic hyper orgasm that only this breed of automation can really deliver.

It's like driving an original Boticelli. You lucky, lucky sod. For this is the PHer's grand tour of passage.

Oh, I could weep...

We have a young Keats in our midst...what a marvellous turn of phrase you can paste onto celluloid (well synthetic celluliod anyway)

Bash - I simply salute you, Sir.

The F355 Spider is simply rolling nectar, of The Gods.

It doesn't matter what you say, what you think or which other cars occassionally stray your way; indeed, no matter how hard you try to convince yourself otherwise, does the overall thrill of driving get vastly superior, ito multi sensory overload, than this?

I rather think not. Stunning, stunning vehicle(so yes, some more involuntarily released saliva).

I wish it was me. I used to live in Monaco during my youth and watch the practice day from the school playground. Been back many a time but would love to do it in the ultima!
Have a great time and perhaps a ph South of France trip may happen in the future.

wow - what can i say...saw the race from right above the start line - fantastic...cars women food and sea all superb.....what a vast line up of cars there were too....tring to figure how to upload some piccies onto here...but there were 2 Zondas , Lambos aplenty, more 360 spiders than i have ever seen (too common over there!) only two 355's (must drive down next year) the New Ascari, 2 English registered Spykers a GRIFF (who are you ??) and the awesome £1m Mercerdes SLR or whatever it is (convertible though this one )....WOW at one point in the square near the casino there was over 2 million sterling in cars alone.....although there was more plastic on some of the women.....
