MrsD, trust me, I'd rather look like a tw@t next to a broken down McLaren F1 than look like a tw@t next to a broken down old Dodge Intrepid any day of the week, twice on Sunday.

Been toying with the idea of changing my car, but I don't really know if I should! It could just be a grass is greener syndrome or itchy feet, but I find myself sifting though autotrader quite often.

This is my situation

I've currently got an NSX that's just about to crack 100,000 miles and i've also got a modified mk1 golf that i use for the track.
I commute 40 miles total each day, over country roads but with solid traffic
The NSX is probably worth about 17 grand.
Single lad, no family.
No badge loyalties.
I like the NSX because it is 100% reliable, performs well and gets admired by people in the know.

With that in mind what can i change to that I won't be disappointed with?

I'd like to free up a bit of cash if possible, but would be willing to use all the money after selling the NSX on something equally as exclusive and fun to drive.
It has to be reliable as it will be used every single day.
I'm not a big fan of depreciation! The NSX has lost 3 grand in value in the past 2 years after I've put about 30000 miles on it. I'm happy with that

I've been looking at the following:
BMW M5 at aroung the 10 grand mark
Merc 190E Cosworth
MR2 Turbo (had one before and liked it, if a little bland)

anything else I should think about?

Would I be a fool to change? Should I just take the depreciation hit after the NSX cracks the 100000 mile mark?

The NSX has lasted the longest before the feet start to itch, but maybe it's time for something new.

Taken from general gassin.....Dont think any further comment is required! LOL

I'm thinking the NSX would be a good entry into the world of the supercar.
It's an entry that would suit me just fine!!!

Hmmmm, now where did I put that spare £25,000 in monopoly money!?!?
