hmm, main reason i dont like the states is because of most of the people i live around and (would rather not) socialize with. and also cause of our overall culture. with the people they are either a bunch of arseholes or uneducated and stupid or the ghetto folk. granted these are what i see in the minors and young folk i have to live with everyday(cept the summer ). and all our culture bases on is getting fat and football.(the american one) .

maybe i just havent gotten out enough and past all the childhood crap but thats what i get to focus my opinions on for now. i suppose the country without including the people isnt that bad. cause there is almost everything u need and that we are "free" and that "everyone is created equal"
[rantmode] you know how that one martin luther king guy i think it was made that one famous speech where he said that everyone is created equal. i find that saying to be a lie. dont get me wrong, i aint trying to say that there should be racism and non whites shouldnt be equal cause that aint what this is about. but instead this is about discrimination against age and the fact that adults can be major hypocrites sometimes. such as this one time where this one guy said to me "boy u should show ur elders some respect" so i reply "why should i show them respect if they dont show me any" and he says "u arent old enough to deserve respect" now what is that, somehow we are all created equal but im not old enough to deserve respect? someone please explain that to me. and also, u know how some stores sell decorative weapons and stuff like that. well i dont see why there is an age limit and why u have to be 18 to buy one. cause in all honesty i think that its because we arent responsible to have one because we might go out and kill someone. well couldnt an adult go out and kill someone also, and probably be more likely to and do a better job at it since kids would be scared to do it and are weaker. i dont understand that either. one last thing, this be about adults being hypocrites. i (used to) have me a zippo, mainly because they are fun to play with. and when my dad found out he immediately confiscated it. he argues the fact that i have no reason to have one. and i argue that back at him since he has some lighters of own. he claims that he uses them for camping. funny thing is that i tend to go camping a lot more than him but i still cant have it.[/rantmode]

wow all that in the ferrari maserati and lambo forums.

Don't know the people you socialise with/live near, but I see where you're coming from on the second bit

I think you may be referring to

"Four score and seven years ago our fathers brought forth on this
continent a new nation, conceived in liberty and dedicated to the
proposition that all men are created equal."

Gettysburg Address, Abraham Lincoln.

Martin Luther King knew we hadn't got there yet:

"I have a dream that one day this nation will rise up and live out
the true meaning of its creed. We hold these truths to be
self-evident that all men are created equal."

"With this faith we will be able to transform the jangling
discords of our nation into a beautiful symphomy of brotherhood."

A little concerned by your desire to acquire imitation combat weapons and set fire to stuff, but I think what you're describing is, broadly, what's known as being a teenager. Old enough to want to be treated as an adult, not old enough for the rest of the world to perceive you as one. The good news is that, with time, it wears off, the bad news is that you'll then look back with longing to a time where you could be irresponsible without real risk and where your mum & dad would still make the really big decisions and sort you out if you screwed up. BTW you can continue this feeling well into your 20s, you just have to spend a long time at college

hmm, this has gotten really interesting. went from a 360 spotting to this. yeah so anyways i have no idea really whats going on or what we are talking aboout cause i soo tired. and with wanting the weapons i find them to be cool and decorative, and for the starting fires, thats not what i said. if u have ever owned a zippo u would know how fun they are. or maybe not, well actually probably not. being a teen sucks. it really does. i need a job, anyone wanna hire me.

I'm in training for a screaming sprog (and it's too damn hot ) I do wish Ted would stop knocking the board out in the early hours though
