Supercars Spotted Thread
Discussion
I'm going to be in London this weekend and, as there are very few supercars where I'm from, I plan on spending a few hours on Friday and Saturday afternoon car spotting in the hope that I'll be able to see some hypercars (F40, F50, LaF, P1, 918, Veyron, Zonda etc.). I just wanted to see if anyone would recommend places to go - I plan on visting the Joe Macari, HR Owen Ferrari and Jack Barclay showrooms. Is there anywhere else I should visit?
I know some of the hotels regularly have nice metal parked outside so I'm going to stop by The Dorchester and The Park Tower Hotel.
Sorry if this is a frequently asked question, I've done a bit of research on where to look, I just want to make sure there's not a McLaren F1 or something sitting in a showroom somewhere that I'd have missed if I didn't ask.
Thanks.

I'm takingmy son down this Saturday also. Personally, we tend to start at Marble Arch and walk down Park Lane. That takes you past Bob Forstners, two Aston showrooms as well as BMW where they have the i8 in. Take a look down side streets as you go, and head for the Dorchester. You can turn left at the Dorchester and go towards Berkley Square. You have Jack barclays and Porsche there. You could go up Curzon Street where there are sometimes a few decent cars parked up. It is along there the Aston Zagato often lives. When you re-join Park Lane, go down towards Hyde Park coner but take a look at the Intercontinental, Hilton and Four Seasons.
Go towards KNightsbridge and you'll go past Ferrari Atellier with McLaren on the opposite side about half a mile up. Further up (on the McLaren side) is the Bulgari Hotel which recently had LaF, P1 and Veyron outside. Down the side street next to Bulgari will take you back near Harrods and Sloane Street. A good look around there (including the small multi story) should bring up a few decent spots for you.
You could up Brompton Road to South Kensington where Lamboghini have a showroom, going up further will take you to Ferrai, although we've not really seen anything special there.
However, if you catch a Distric line from South Kensington you can get off at Southfields and head for Joe Macari. At Joe Macari, make sure you pop across the road to the service centre, that has the best little car park you are ever likely to see.
Feel free to pm for more stuff, but I think that covers most of what you'll need.
Other pher's will undoubtedly have other advice also.

Thank you so much, that's exactly the kind of answer I was hoping for much appreciated.Go towards KNightsbridge and you'll go past Ferrari Atellier with McLaren on the opposite side about half a mile up. Forgot to mention, when you go through Knightsbridge be sure to look in the car park behind the Park Tower Hotel (Formerly the Sheraton Park Tower) as that is where the Huyara and Mercedes 6x6 have been staying).

Having had a piece of thin wood fall through my trailer I stopped to sort it out. Much to my amusement a Ferrari past by.
LaFerrari in black with the plate 70 F if anyone knows anymore about it? Spotted in Llandudno of all places.
edit: Do we think it's 70 F as in f70 or as in Toff?
Got to be 70F as in F70. Saw it at Silverstone couple weeks back. Lovely motor. LaFerrari in black with the plate 70 F if anyone knows anymore about it? Spotted in Llandudno of all places.

Thanks, will do Is the HR Owen showroom behind Lamborghini London still open? The last time I was there they had a 250 TDF and a Veyron Grandsport among others - have seen pics of Zondas, MC12, Reventon there since.(Formerly the Sheraton Park Tower) as that is where the Huyara and Mercedes 6x6 have been staying).
