I knew that the Diablo was possibly going to be an expensive toy , but hadn't realised that it would impact others as well.

The rather large rear tyres are having quite an impact on a number of friend's cars:-

Just had the car resprayed, a new windscreen and a good Zymoling as well. (All damage down to following Tonys' Lambo down to Le mans)

look fwd to it again (Brunters).....but can everyone please remind me not to follow Tony's grit spitting Diablo!!
Just had the windscreen replaced via insurance (no loss of bonus, 60 quid excess) for a cool 2.2k. Well thats Ferrari for ya!!!! Still need to get the stonechips done...........one day.

Plus another mate's two month old black 996 Turbo also needed a front end respray and new windscreen after one trip to Le Mans.

You have been warned.

So you'll be happily letting everyone overtake you enroute to Lemans next year then?

Not to mention the thousands of cricked necks you cause when the beast rumbles past pedestrians

Oh and I had to go to hospital to have my permanent grin removed resulting from following the convoy of you, jason & C3 down the lanes back from brunters.

The combination of your throaty V12, Jasons Sceaming V8, C3's howling flat six, coupled to the bike noises of my sqeealing inline 4 & my mates banzi revving V4 all combined to produce an automotive orchesteral orgy, sort of a petrol heads version of last night of the proms on acid

I'm not sure it's the tyres
I know your driving sucks but so does the car
It sucks all the little bits of grit right out of the road.
What surprises is that you were only ahead 30% of the time but caused all the damage..and you forgot to mention the poor chap in the Zonda

I'll settle the bill by way of a few Smirnoff Ice next time we meet, normal rules obviously!

... yep, three cracked headlights and a respray on that Zonda might make the costs of the 360/996/993 pale into insignificance. I think I've got all that on video somewhere.
