As for the profile that you have found, it is not the owner so i would ask you to retract that instead.
To be fair Stin, you've pretty much admitted its his profile, albeit an inactive one.I dont understand the need to protect his identity, its been accepted he's a mad petrol head so all credit to him.
How about we all get back on track though and discuss the car :chill:

I am sure I know who owns this car and I live miles away in South Wales, checking the persons "garage" on here, everything seems to match up.
F430 Spider, LP640 Roadster, etc etc & from Nottingham. If it is the people Im thinking of, their hardly shy as im sure the son featured in a well known Boy racer magazine showing the family car collection? Am I correct??
I dont see what difference knowing who owns it makes in any case?
Your not more then a few clicks away from double checking your info but of course you should really not publicize the details F430 Spider, LP640 Roadster, etc etc & from Nottingham. It makes no difference to the car itself but I guess people as a race are just nosy and want to assess whether the person is 'right' for the car
Do we get any videos yet, Stin? Suppose the car is locked away in such shoddy weather?!
What difference does it make to anyone who owns the car!!?? If you know then fine, but he just doesn't want it banding around the internet for the time being!! I'm sure even some of you can appreciate that??
I'm sure that he will take it to some events next year for all to see and you will get to meet the owner so it will all come out then but for now he'd like to keep it a little private for himself to enjoy.

I was actually agreeing with the poster who I quoted in my post about it not mattering who owns what, I wasn't having a pop at you like you seem to think - I don't really give two hoots about it myself as I am just here for the cars.
However it is a public forum so people will naturally be nosy about stuff like that, same reasons as to why there are threads on all sorts of similar expensive/interesting metal and people wanting to know more about the car/owners and all that guff.
If someone completely random had posted the pictures they had taken of this car on here you would get the same sort of speculation, there is nothing wrong with that and you will never stop it.
I think people are just a bit miffed that you have associated yourself with this 'mystery' person many times on here in the past and made it quite clear who 'they' may be. Your then getting angry that people are not respecting his privacy now or your orders to keep quiet about it all. Hopefully you can see where I am coming from - it is not an attack or anything against you personally, just explaining how it looks from an outsider POV.
Anyways - you have modded your profile and everyone has had their fun so lets just move on back to cars. After all it's only a bloomin' forum on the internet. I speak for myself but I appreciate the intention of starting the post and am grateful of your pictorial input so would be nice to get back to the real meat of the thread.

the owner who for some strange reason (judging by some of the idiots on here i can see why) doesn't have a profile on here.
so its not http://www.pistonheads.com/gassing/profile.asp?mem...who also happens to have an Orange Murci Roadster, you know, like the one in the picture in your profile.
Hardly the work of Sherlock Holmes is it?
As said previously, the owner doesn't have a profile on here and the profile that you have found is not used anymore.
You will notice the profile only has 20 or so posts in the last 3 and a bit years......the reason is because of crap like this!!
What is the point???
I keep posting on here because cars are my passion but i can see why people leave when you get this sort of st for no reason whatsoever.
Get a grip.
Now back to the car please and not some bullst witch hunt to bad name people.
Personally, I dont give a toss about who owns it, I'm just stunned by the fact that you've been trying so desperatley to keep the owner a secret, then take a picture of said Reventon next to the same car in your profile, with the owners link which includes his full name in it!!

If its not the owner, then it doesnt need to be retracted, does it?

I do see your point and i have spoken about his other cars before but i don't think that i'm coming across as ordering anyone not to say anything just asking not to band it around at the moment which i don't think is too unreasonable.
The videos i have are only in the and around the garage so none with it at full chat but i can assure you that it is louder than the LP when being gunned!

This was also the case when the guy, aged around 22 (the son), was featured in Max Power or what ever boy racer magazine it was.
What difference does it make if the family, or person is revealed today, or early january?? The owner wants to enjoy the car?? so because people know they own it, he/they cant enjoy it?? lol
If I owned that car, and wanted it to be a secret, its you id be pissed off with for posting the pics all over the UK's best read motoring forums, not the people just innocentley wondering who is lucky enough to own such a fantastic car!

Jesus you people are hard work aren't you!!! Why on earth would he be pissed at me when he asked me to post a the pics on here for people but he didn't want to people to know who yet??? I really don't get nor understand what the hell peoples problem is with that!?! Who are you to judge anyone on here??I just won't bother at all next time! Even though there are some people on here that are happy to chat about cars the ones who turn each thread in to an argument just make it not worth the bullst and hassle it brings. Well done for not only royally pissing of a petrolhead but also spoiling for everyone else on here that just want to talk about cars.

Chris Hickling would be very amused that there was this much speculation about his identity.
Damn you!! You do realise that his Reventon will now either disintigrate or get pinched by the pikeys that "stole" that Ferrari ENZO the other day!!! I just hope you realise the full consequences of revealing his identity. He could of been any of the thousands' of super car collectors in Nottingham but you went and revealed his identity, ending the world as we know it... Its a sad day, Mr Hickling must be devastated- probably sell the Lambo "LP640 with a body kit" for Gallrdo money now its all out in the open Edited by Lambojim on Wednesday 26th November 22:12
Well i for one am just glad that there are people like Stin who are happy tho share their luck with us mere mortals, If it was not for his like i would not have gotten close to half the cars i dream of.
Just dont chase him away by constantly pestering him!! There was an Enzo / veyron owner who left Ferrarichat for the very same reasons, which makes the chances of seeing his cars much diminished from when he was a happy poster.
All i ask is a bit of a heads up for us on Pistonheads if your mate ever takes the car out to a public event in the future!
