Having heard Kevin's 360 with the Tubi zorst, I can confirm that a standard 360 can sound very similar indeed.

There is some soundbites of an F355 with Damax exhaust here - turn it up!!

Kevin,,I have to hand it to you for ordering one,it really is THE car of the moment. As a Porschephile even though it is cheaper and it is the MK2 version, the current 996 GT3 has nowhere near the desirability factor of Stradalle.I can understand your frustration and anticipation in waiting for the car.

It got me thinking,,,the CS has to be the most desirable Ferrari since.....THE F40 !

Ok the CS has the new transmission & the Carbon brakes, but in terms of price they are not that far away.
I was wondering will the CS maintain a legendary status of a great Ferrari amongst the Tifosi ?

Or is it a stepping stone to an F40 and GPS directions to the holy grail ?

Worry not Guy- I'll be doing plenty of passenger rides when it arrives; I won't sell this one before you've had a ride in it! Delivery is still a bit of a vague concept, but best guess is Jan/Feb next year. While that's only 3 or 4 months away, it still seems like an absolute age, especially when you're sat there watching delicious clips like this.

CS- the amazing thing is that it even has the Domster seal of approval Must be the lack of cup holders....

Brian- we just HAVE to do the back to back comparison of these cars. Don't know about you, but it should be a useful exercise. Would be very interested in what you think when you drive it as well. The 360 is such a good car to begin with, and yours sounds wonderful (I can still hear it) so the bar is pretty high already. Reserve judgement on the *quality* of the sound until we hear it in real life; Ajay and Manu had video footage of my 360 with the Hamann exhaust on it, and it sounded better on the video than it did in person. The one thing that could put the mockers on it is that F1 box, although we tried an M3 with the SMG this morning and it wasn't bad at all. So here's hoping...

Not given out leniently, I can tell you.

You didn't go for that nasty stripe in the end, did you Kev? I'll let you off the lexan windows

PS Ian Litchfield from Litchfield Imports was eulogising about the Ferrari 550 the other day. Sublime, apparently. I took one look at those poncey belt buckles in the rear window and dismissed it as Premiership footballer fodder, but maybe it is worth another look.

Hi guys

well as an owner of a 360 with Tubi gotta say i dont think theres a lot in the sound between 360 with Tubi and Stradale except personal preferance to the type of lower sound they produce.

Both are great, Scuderiasystems.co.uk is where the sound bytes are under MEDIA
Enjoy guys.

Joe :-)

No stripe; sorry about the lexans, but I wouldn't be able to stick my head out of the window to hear the engine.

Oh, it is totally sublime. Think 'a Bentley that goes round corners' and you get closer to it. Use your RS when you want a hoon, 550 when you want to go somewhere, bloody quickly, in style. It's a gentlemans car. Closest I EVER came to an impulse buy was a gorgeous 550 in Maranellos; rosso over crema, sports seats, box quilted headlining & parcel shelf, FHP, shields, modular rims. Didn't even have to adjust the seat- it was perfect. It was also 90 grand. Another minute in there I'd have bought it, and bollocks to the consequences. So consider your next move carefully!

Anyway, I thought monster US trucks with 35' chromed wheels were the conveyance of choice now among the Premiership types?

Kevin,

of course we'll need to do back to back runs! We'll get some great video shots of them both running together. I'm up for it.. in fact I think it MUST be done if anything to satisfy everyones taste for standard versus Tubi versus Stradale.
I can' wait for you to show what it can do - that clip with Vicky was awsome - see that glimse in her eye flipping the gearbox up and down? Brilliant.

Are you coming on Sunday to VW? Meeting at Manu's before or..?
