can i suggest giving up if you're in the trade.

i've sold 5 used scuds since December and only one car was sub 150k.

i can also confirm i have 5 very happy customers.

if you are trying to sell a car on behalf of a friend and you aren't having any luck then tell him to have it back and call someone who know's what they're doing.

i'm over and out of this tread now as i have better things to do (i.e buy some scuds and 599's for £125k plus off people that own them!!!!)

The 110k Scuds were for the GB Club cars. I accept that there no more at this price at presnet. In my view this price range is ot to far away. As you well know...........

So can i assume that if someone showed you a "very brave offer" for the Scud at £110k, you would sell it to them?

I believe it was advertised by Hamann uk (autovogue). The car was on sor or similar with saffron, i talked to its owner during the summer, he is or was in some way connected with saffron or a company that worked with them.

Any thoughts on where lp640 prices are now?

I can still get just below list for the comfort one from Hong Kong. Only 10 cars were delivered there. With only 35 UK cars as to over 250 with the Scuds I expect the GT2 to hold up well. .or shall we say better.

Ed Lovett has just offered 10k over what you say is the value. Sounds like an underwrite to me!

I also know that Ed like many dealers is advertising to buy stock like that on a daily basis.

And as a dealer ( admittedly not of Ferrari) I can confirm that good stock is short supply once again just like it is every January. Prices have hardened and business is good.

Just because the cars took a kicking last year doesnt mean it carries on at the same pace forever otherwise the cars would end up free!!

So I think you may be misinformed. However if I am wrong, you are based in the Midlands. Pop in for a coffee and tell me your thoughts.

As a footnote, I work for the same company as Graypaul. I have just had a look at the cars in question. We did indeed buy all five but paid considerably more than you have said. That should settle it.
