Mal,

It's the GT, i'm a hard top man. The car is lovely and drives very well. She was on old rubber so the ride was harder than it should be.

Foskers seem great and I had a list from a new ignition system, new rubber to trim issues and they said they are happy to resolve them all within the sale price.

I've put my deposit down and she will be ready in a few weeks.

They are going to look after her so she'll stay amongst good company.

Can't wait.

Simon.

I'm in East London near Old Street, so they're only about 45min away out of rush hour.

Hi guys,

I drove a dino at a recent photo shoot and it was very nice indeed. If i had the money for a ferrari it would be the one Id have. Unfortunately I cant show you the pictures.

Hi Mal

Yes,

Picked it up last Friday. Great fun. Spent the weekend cruising around Oxfordshire, it was a real blast. Needs some running in due to a recent engine rebuild so only sampled her up to 4500.

She looks so cute. In the paddock at Silverstone on Sunday for the BRSCC meet she was amongst a host of over Ferraris, 360's etc, yet she was the one getting all the attention. Something to get used to I guess.

Picking her up tomorrow for a trip down to Brighton. Hopefully the weather will hold!

How are you getting on with yours?

Good news, I hope you enjoy it. It would be good to meet up one day as so far I have not met anyone else with a Dino.

My car is doing fine, it needs its annual service and preparation for LeMans in June so I will be booking it in at Foskers soon

Great Stuff. I did not see one other Dino last year so your right there wont be many. If you pop over to Ferrari chat they are organing a Ferrari meet on Friday am which will be close to the PH one so maybe we could meet up there.

Which campsite are you in simon. We are in Maison Blanche.

I have only taken to Dino once, but I have been taking various cars for 20 years and have never had a problem.

I think we're in campsite blue near the Porsche curves, just down from Maison Blanche, if the map I'm using is correct.

Camping Bleu is just outside the circuit boundary, whereas Maison Blanche is inside, but they are only a few yards apart.

Look forward to seeing you and your car there.

Mal,

Are there many points where you can cross over to the inside? Do you need a different pass to do this?

Let me know,

Simon.

Maison Blanche is still outside the track, but inside the boundary. All you need is the general entry ticket.

As for crossing to the inside of the circuit, within the viewing area there are three tunnels and one bridge. They are apparently modifying the tunnels so it may be different this year.

As the circuit is so big there are public roads within the track which you can use on until Friday, but during the race access is restricted.

PS - Lovely Day - I've brought the Dino to work today - so I can pop out and look at it when I get bored.

Mal,

Wish I could bring mine to work. But for better or for worse I've decided to keep quiet about it. Don't want the troops to get the wrong idea, or start demanding pay rises!
