Help

Just found out that the alarm on the maser is only

"to thatcham cat 1 standard" rather than

"thatcham cat 1 certified"

Privilige are now saying they can't cover it even though they have all the supporting documents from meridian stating that it is to thatcham cat 1 standard just not certified

Help any experiences on dealing with this?

A certificate - barstewards the lot of 'em.

Dare I ask who you're insured with?

I'm with royal&sun alliance, its a continuation of the policy I had on my 348 though. They were happy with the standard vehicle security.

Sorry, I know my thread above wasnt much help, I've since been trawling the net trying to get some more info for you.

I went through Nowell & Richards who I have used for a few years now.

It might be worth you offering to get a tracker if you dont have one, this would at least show willing and appease them maybe. The last bloody thing you need is to rip out the alarm & replace it.

Best of luck, if I can find anything will post asap.

All sorted customer services reviewed the docs and are happy with them.
