The car looks great Jan. So how many proposals of marriage have you had so far?? guess Nigel may start getting jelous! If it helps I will add my proposal , but as I am Italian I regret that food comes first and have proposed to Nigel Slater and Nigella Lawson first! Remember my adaptation of the old Italian proverb' Eternal love lasts a year' 'and then it depends on how you can cook'!!!
Great cars and still think you have exquisite taste in cars and colours! Very pastel!
Sorry missed you at car things this year! Bought a Khamsin to supplement my Gandini obsession!

ShoeBag, can we please see your garage on this thread as I think you will have a good chance of topping the league:

http://www.pistonheads.com/gassing/topic.asp?h=0&a... has the best Garage on Pistonheads????
I don`t think I could top Funky`s garage - that is quite impressive.

I quite liked him years ago when he used to buy tyres from me, before he became famous but he`s not my type really.

shoebag, may I ask if you go up to Edinburgh often? You were spotted in a petrol station and it was posted on autogespot, I found the link but it is dead nowfrown

Near Calais
I have never taken the CCR to Scotland - it may of been Rio`s CC8S? The other photo is at the Eurotunnel, Calais.
Would you mind letting us know the running costs over a year? Servicing, tyres, wear & tear etc? Same question to you Northo and could you also cover the Zonda that you guys ran as that seems to always get a great write-up with regards to build quality & servicing costs.

I remember a young chap taking an Egg on the 2007(i think) Gumball across the US.

IIRC it was the chap who owns Nando's.

Under-developed? Close to financial ruin? A grand tourer? A military 4x4?
