Any shots of the interior..?? Especially the 'phone dial' please.

Ex-Rio CC8s interior. Was lucky enough to get to spend a fair amount of time photographing it(although location was far from ideal) and the atmosphere of a car like that is phenomenal, even when static. You feel like you are beside a true work of art.

shoebag, may I ask if you go up to Edinburgh often? You were spotted in a petrol station and it was posted on autogespot, I found the link but it is dead nowfrown

I've been lucky enough to see a CCR in the flesh, fella that owned it no longer has it though after only ever doing 12 miles or so in it!

I have never taken the CCR to Scotland - it may of been Rio`s CC8S? The other photo is at the Eurotunnel, Calais.

Would you mind letting us know the running costs over a year? Servicing, tyres, wear & tear etc? Same question to you Northo and could you also cover the Zonda that you guys ran as that seems to always get a great write-up with regards to build quality & servicing costs.

I remember a young chap taking an Egg on the 2007(i think) Gumball across the US.

An annual service at Broughtons, the main dealer is 6K. Tyres aren't too bad about 1K per set.

The CCR has done very few miles over the last year. The batteries had to be replaced. There are 2 batteries and they cost £297.15 plus vat each. Also replaced was a brake light switch £26.60 plus vat. Plus there was the labour charge for fitting the batteries as they are quite difficult to get to.
There is only one fully trained Koenigsegg mechanic in the UK and he is based at Broughtons, Pangbourne the UK dealership where my car goes. I took the car to the local MOT garage for it`s MOT.

It's amusing enough watching an MOT tester try and get in and out of a TVR... I daren't think what their faces looked like when you appeared in the 'egg.. hehe

It was definitely your CCR, it is a unique colour as you said. It is more likely that the location was wrong on the website.

Are you aware of a black Koenigsegg in Scotland? I know a lad from Sweden that is sure there is one in Edinburgh.
