Hi People,

Got a problem with the heaters on my 355. I thought you guys might be able to help fix it before I have to go and pesture Karl at Verdi's.

Problem is that the heaters don't seem to control temp properly. On a cold start I normally set the temp to around 22 deg and as the car warms up the heaters produce warm air, after about half an hour the temp start to get colder and more like ambient air temp. If you increase the temp on the dial it gets warm for a few mins and then goes to same ambient temp again. The only way to get a steady warm airflow is to turn the temp to max hot and it stays hot.

I mainly notice this on longer journey's but it's getting a bit anoying now when I have to keep playing with the temp dial to control the temp.

If it happens at any point on the journey that's it, you can let the engine temp get hot in traffic but it makes no difference.

Changing to auto mode as no effect except it pushes hot air for a few mins to get the temp up then goes to a cold ambient flow.

I checked the coolant level at the weekend after the problem had occured and is was fine.

Any help would be appreicated.

Cheers,

Kam
