Thanks all! I'll do the traditional thing with pics and initial impressions. It'll be doing the rounds at various PH events this year. First one is to take Daz up on his offer of a ratburger if I show up in it at Bruntingthorpe (as a spectator) next month; how can anyone refuse an offer like that?!
Kevin
Kev,
Is the passenger seat vacant for the trip to Brunters ? If so please please please .... can I come along for the ride ?
I can act as PH official photographer/cameraman in order to satisfy the burning desire of all PH'ers to get a taste of what owning one of the extraodinary machines is like

Only a few more days...
This is the closest I will probably ever come to awaiting the arrival of my own 360CS, so I hope you get as many piccys/ vids sorted asap of your new pride and joy whenever you stop for petrol (dont see you getting out of it for anything else!!)
Cant wait to hear it/ see it at a meet in future (Bruntingthorpe??)
Thank you for purchasing such a fantastic car, may these next few days fly by.

Kev,
Last night I was reading the Evo test between the 360 CS and the GT3 mark 2 when they took the cars up and down the Stelvio (sp?) Pass, the CS was the winner in outright pace and driving feel / handling - a great feat considering the ability of the Porker The CS sounds (pardon the pun) an awesome beast, roll on Monday! What are you doing with your time this weekend? Plenty of morphine to pass away the remaining hours ?
MOD.

What a fantastic looking car!!! Thing looks so much more aggressive than the stock 360. Those brakes and calipers look sort of unreal, they are absolutely huge!!!! You can see the calipers a mile off.
The colour isnt orange, so unfortunately we cant nickname Kev "Tango". Oh well. On the plus side, it looks wicked with the stripe down the middle. Pretty unreal actually seeing it driving down central London in the rearview.
Thanks for the offer of the drive, but all that carbon fibre intimidated me
Gearchanges are SUPER fast, nothing like the crappy thing I drove a few months ago. This is the real deal, this is what the system should be like. Down changes sound fecking fannytastic, from INFRONT, just imagine the delight from the rear (Manu will take that the wrong way ). Anyway, suffice to say they did a good job with it, and thats without the exhaust being run in with some miles on it. Should sound even better by the end of tomorrow then
Tubi will sound mental, but hey why not, owner is and so is the car
Looking forward to a proper hoon, city and outskirt driving is just simply crap.
It feels fast, but not uncomfortable, and it sticks to the road. Kevin reckons its inspiring and well they speed you took that corner at mate, I wouldn't have in mine.
I like it a lot.
Some pictures (hope you dont mind Kev):

Thanks all. I'll do my best to get round the various PH meets for passenger rides etc. Posted detailed impressions on another thread.
Hey thanks Ali! Glad you could make it down. Don't worry, we WILL do a proper hoon, but outside London. I just posted my essay and was off to take some pics. Well done.
Got back in time for my conference call, though for some reason found it difficult to concentrate.
Funny thing when I got back. Four of my neighbours saw me pull up and came over to have a look. The car was idling away as they were oohing and aahhing. Then I said "but wait until the exhaust valves open up" and went in to prod the throttle a few times. The valves opened up on cue, and in the rearview I saw all four recoil, as one, and put their hands over their ears. Feck. It was like a synchronised swimming move. I came out laughing and said "the neighbours are going to love this". One of them, who races gearbox karts, said "feck the neighbours" and looked at me strangely when I found this bloody hilarious.
