Supercars of the murcielago's ilk are only partly about performance, they have a certain air of ultimate power, both within the machine, and within the wallet of the owner. A lamborghini wasn't always a fantastic drive, but it's always been a spectacle. This is simply a "more lamborghini" murcielago than it was before. (the murcielago was a more serious, more "audi" diablo... get what I'm going on about?) More extravagant, more impossible to ignore. hairdresser's car it is NOT.

A single guy in a convertible/cabriolet (technically this Lambo is a cabriolet folks and not a convertible) will look like he's batting for the other side (or cutting hair), unless its a TVR, Lambo, Ferrari, Lotus, Maserati or Porsche.

So all you Z3, Mx5, S2000, TT, SLK, owners, get your crimpers out and mince along please... (tongue firmly in cheek...)

Can hairdressers actually afford this car?

If so, I chose the wrong job

K1 Attack...

Isnt that the car based on the Accord? Heard about that years ago. Did it ever happen? I liked it a lot at the time.

It still doesnt look anything like the Lambo though!

As an aside to all the hairdresser/not hairdresser car debate, I think those deep-dish rear wheels look pretty bitchin'.

The S2000 dont belong in that group. Have you actually driven one?

Also the M version of the Z3 shouldnt be there although the standard one I agree with

I don't think the Murci looks better roofless, although the angle is a little strange on those two shots. Some cars do (360 Spider) and some cars don't (911 cabriolet), but either way I'm sure there will be no shortage of takers.

Looks are a very personal thing aren't they ? In my opinion the 360 is an absolutely stunning car as hard top and it's lines (for me) are utterly ruined as the Spider. Horses for courses I guess. Am certainly not a anti soft top either, as I'm a Griff owner !

Having looked at a few 360s up close of late, I'm inclined to agree.

I think the lines of the 360, Murci and the 911 are all knackered by hacking the top off.

I have zero problem with Supercar soft tops. It'd just be nice to see the engineering might of these firms put to use in creating a properly designed and engineered (from the ground up) soft top, AND a top rank coupe to keep their ranges wide enough.

And the cost of engineering is hardly a factor. They could just crank the list price up
