That is the ugliest Ferrari ever (tm)!!

Uglier than the 400i? Some think it's elegant, but compared to the 365GTC/4 it replaced, it looks like a stretched Vauxhall Chevette and the front-end treatment looks like they couldn't decide whether full-width grille, pop-up lights or wrap-arounds looked best, so they put them all on.

YES, uglier than the 400i (which I kinda like)! The before mentioned Hyundai Coupe is much much nicer! This got to be the worst Pinifarina styling EVER! (Has seen them failing on a couple of other brands too, lately.)

Interior is

Now, all TVR has to do is keep the back seats in that Typhon and they can stack orders until 2050.

If you want a Ferrari just get a 360 Challenge Stradale and bag an M5 with the change.

Much better

I still haven't seen it in the flesh, though a friend who has almost identical car taste to mine said it did nothing for him. Doesn't bode well. I did think they'd go in at a cheaper price point this time. It's the same price as the outgoing 456M. As someone on Ferrarichat once said, it's "value will drop faster than a set of keys falling out of a Lear jet"

Just got back from a visit to the Geneva Motor Show. Scaglietti looks SO much better in the flesh than in the pictures - which is just as well! I still prefer the 456 that it replaced, though.

Sounds like some people are saying it sucks just for the sake of saying it. Worst ferrari ever..........doubtful. Worst looking ferrari ever..........at least it looks better than the 456. Take out the jealousy and spite and you will most likely love it.

I saw one in the flesh at the Melbourne Motor show last week (I have the piccie, not sure how to upload it). Trust me in the right colour in the metal this is a drop dead gorgeous car. The motor show example had everyone dribbling. It was across the aisle from a Zonda and surrounded by other Ferrari exotica as well, yet it got all the attention (well ok, the Stradale got a bit :-)

Looked pretty cool to me in Geneva too.

I reckon most cars are colour sensitive - red 550's are worth 10K less than a blue/silver/black one's - too much metal for the red - although clearly this subjective.

re: the ugliest ferrari ever - Mmmmm - what about that F40 made of plywood!

Enjoy the fact that, once again, we are in a position to play with yet another V12 5.7 litre italian bit of naughtiness.

Bring it on!

I was at that show as well Peter and the 612 has a prescence few Ferraris will have. That metallic maoon colour was perfect and gave it an air of aristocracy but the main thing it had was SIZE!!!

This Ferrari is bloody HUGE!!!

40 Bangladeshi families could live there in real comfort

Imposing would describe it and absolutely gorgeous is another way, but I'll wait the 12 months for the price to drop to what I can afford

I haven't yet made my mind up on the styling, I'm warming to it though. I'm not too keen on the headlights. I know they're projector units, but to my mind anything under the glass covers should be silver. The lights to me are the eyes of a cars face, and the body colour bits makes the shape of them lose defenition if you know what I mean?

Btw Autocar did a First Drive this week and it got the thumbsup.

saw the 612 in detroit. Tremendous letdown. everytime I see that champagne 456M GTA in Greensboro, NC (closest ferrari/maserati dealership, I live in Raleigh), I about fall over, it's so much more attractive than every other ferrari. And I mean that. Every time I go there, there's 5 or 6 modenas and maranellos, but apart from a cranberry F355 spider, that 456 is the best looking car in the showroom. Last time, there was an ENZO there, and the 456 still sparkled in my eye. (altho the enzo isn't pretty, it's awe didn't break my stare)

Is it just me that thinks that looks worryingly similar to a 350Z? I know it's a wide-angle lense, but still.....

/Edit - Forgot to add, I don't like it, the bonnet is too long, the sides have no style and it looks too understated. I agree with the sentiment that the 456 was nicer - much nicer IMHO.

The only thing I like about it is the dashboard, the seats are ok apart from all that plastic
