Right, on the big screen in the marquee we'd like to have some motoring videos running, your videos if possible!

We'd like to show your footage, be it track day laps, the Nurburgring or a convoy out hooning (Luca Brazzi?).

Ideally we need them on DVD so we can put one on every half hour or stick 'em on a loop.

Would anyone like to share their videos live at the show?

Off topic slighty...

Ted have you considered asking Duke if they'd like to do something re this? E.g. have their films showing and also a stand etc to sell them on?

Luca Brazzi has some footage of Mid-Essex TVRCC stuff... and I'll also be taking a video camera to Le Mans... but in both cases I would prefer to ask the people involved if they have any objections first.

Looks like I'll be finishing Surrey Run 5 then, for its movie premiere at PistonFest....if that's what people would like?

I've got a compilation DVD as well, featuring some small outings:

"Road to Virginia Waters"
"Pie on the Beach II", by Gruffy
And there are Surrey Runs 2,3 and 4.

Be pleased to show any of the above, so will give Ted a selection.

Steve, now we know what it takes to get you to finish Surrey Run V !!

Ted, we've got some footage of a tvrcc airport day we all went on recently - i'll send a note out on the e-group to see if anyone minds it being shown.

Clair.

I've got a few hours of in-car video on various circuits, mostly pretty boring stuff unless you were there (after the first thirty or fourty laps, Lydden is actually not that interesting to see!) but there are a few bits you might find interesting?

Don't worry about it not being 100% fascinating. It'll just be nice having motoring stuff on the screen in the background whilst everyone sups

Ted,

I went on a corporate track day at Brands last year and the firm that organised it had J.P.Montoya as their special guest. JPM took me round the track in a BMW M5 then proceded to do doughnuts everywhere (even in the pit lane). It was awesome.
(I did have to change my undercrackers afterwards)
I took the vid with me inside the car when he drove me round, and also have some amazing vid of some figure of eight doughnuts in the car park.

Interested ?

Only prob is , I have them as large MPEG files at the moment. Not sure how to get them onto DVD?

Sounds good Stuart.

I'll contact you later in the week when I'm working on this stuff. I'll try and collate a lot of it onto a single disc.

I took a lot of footage on the way to and from Le Mans... as well as in-car footage from Lake's Cerbera on the drivers parade.

I'll be burning it to DVD ASAP, so I'll make an extra copy if you're interested...

I also have a large 4.5gig MPEG taken in the Ultima, with my friend screaming like a girl whilst holding the camera I need to do the same. Can it be done with Nero or Windows Moviemaker?

Then I can send you the DVD.
