The holiday inn is at the PH on the A1036. I cannot remember the name of the pub, I will have a look tonight and post the name of the pub tomorrow.

Hm, Gofer, why did you suggest I bring the MX again?
Feeling decidedly inadequate (only in relation to engine size, so no tasteless jokes required thanks) compared to the rest of that list (OK, at least my car wont break down, but will be a bit on the slow side). Perhaps I will just grab a lift in your spare seat and hope nothing else goes wrong with it.

I will bring half a dozen or so copies of the the proposed route from Autoroute so there should be no problems about getting too lost.

I suspect the first bit will be quite slow due to shed pullers and motor snails but we should get a good run from Stensall

Guys & Gals,

Also remember that there is racing on at York so there may be a bit of additional traffic along the A64 south of York. We should be OK as gates open at 11:15 but there are bound to be people getting there early and so hold ups are possible.

Martyn, I got rid of the Razzles about 20 years ago - didn't see the need for them at that time.

Hi,

Plans are uncertain at the mo, but Ray and I hope to head up from Essex today to break the journey and stay somewhere overnight.

Don't know where we will end up, but if we are close...is it okay to join you?

In the absence of the rest of the gang, I'll say even though I can't make this one.

See you Saturday evening, enjoy the drive, it is gorgeous weather.

As you head down the 1036 towards York the pub is on the left about 1/4 mile after the roundabout. Its behind the pub called the "Stockton on the Forest Inn"
