Tickets sold out already? I guess I'll arrive early, get in the PH parking (signed up) and take my chances on the gate! How many are available on the day?
If it's sold out that's news to me

I went to purchase through the website and it claimed that there were 'no tickets available for this event'. I'll try again today in case the site was having a wobbly!

Double checked, there are still some available and the website seems fine. Please try again. Let me know if you experience any difficulties.

Cheers,
JKB

Just gone through it ok. Not sure what was happening last night. I think it was just trying to make me sweat! Build the tension and all that!

Loved it last year but I'm inclined to ask, have any provisions been made for the extremely likely event that the fields used for parking become a mud bog?

Last year I came along the A36 and sat in traffic for around 2 hours missing the supercar arrival. Can someone please let me in on the secret of the best way to approach the event? I'm coming from South Wales.

Early. We've opened at 08.30 this year and there will be plenty to see/do before the supercars arrive.

Is this event still running. I see that a cycle race the week after (12/8/12) has been cancelled due to police/resources being re-deployed to the olympics.

I assume that as respectable motorists and car nuts we can all arrive without causing any issues smile

I order to do the parade, we have to find somewhere to squirrel away the cars until the appropriate hour. Other options have been looked into this year, but suffice to say the supercars will be somewhere in Wiltshire. I can neither confirm nor deny exactly where. Trust me, the hassle of getting a convoy of 170+ supercars into Wilton on time is quite difficult enough without another thousand gatecrashers following along for good measure!
