We did it close to lunchtime in the hope that people who can't browse mid-afternoon might have been able to get on the list...

I'm not saying I didn't get in (I did use my phone) but there will be tons of people turning up here later saying that I think.

There's an attempt at the Guiness World Record for Ferraris on track at one time, on Saturday.

Lots of Ferrari owners signing up for this offer - presumably they couldn't get their acts together to sign up for the official weekend passes !!!
Not guilty as charged. My free tickets haven't come through yet so I'm hedging my bets. Will withdraw my name from the list if/when they show up.

Superb - I've signed up just in case (!) as I'm only 80% sure I can make it.

Two questions - does this mean there's no normal 1pm kick-out, i.e. we can stay all day if we choose?

Also, will I need to furnish Stuart with more Ferrero Rocher (I can't imagine there's many left from Sunday now)?
It is an all day meet - track action from morning until 6pm, so you can stay for as long as you want.

The sub heading was a nod to your kind gift on Sunday actually - I was ploughing through them when I was writing it. Nom and indeed Nom. thumbup

Having been to the last PH SS, im convinced there was space for way more than 700 cars. Last time im sure we only filled 2/3 of the car park.

Once again I get in from work to see that there are many people who spend their 'work' days clearly not working! I'm optimistic... (very being 830+) on the list... Lets hope The Pistonheads management remind those on the list several times that if they aren't able to attend to remove themselves from it ASAP & give those who would love to be a part of a Sunday Service a fair chance of attending.
As I'm sure people are ticked off on the event day as they arrive, could those who don't show up be blacklisted/publicly shamed etc??
Hope to be there next weekend.... & well done to the management for aranging it!!

Serious dropping out begins when Stuart sends out a reminder, till then the list may swell further.

Correct, but the building itself was pretty busy, so I think we probably had as many people as we all felt comfortable with.

At Ferrari we're benefitting from their goodwill, and £14k of free tickets is pretty generous. 700 cars will take a heck of a lot of organisation and processing by our team too, so I'm pretty comfortable that this is a big enough task for us all to take on.

As Mermaid says, the job now is to remind people to check out again if they aren't going to make it after all. Worth also making sure that we have a correct email address for you too, as we'll be sending out instructions on what to do at the gate via this method.

Thanks,

Stuart
