In which case you could publish it at something more inclusive like 6pm, or later, for those who have to work and don't have access to the 'site during the day??
We might have to in future. 12:45pm gave most people a fighting chance during the lunch break we thought, and is one of the times of the day when we get a traffic spike similar (albeit not quite as big) to 6-8pm. skierandy said:
Am I right in assuming that if the 700 spaces are full, which they are lol, there is another way of turning up for a nose anyway?
Yes, you can buy a ticket. £10, and under 15s free. Which is very reasonable for a day out I think. We've got over a week to get the numbers down though, so certainly worth sticking your name on the list.

Stuart, must say congrats for all the effort you put in on responding to some quite unusual questions on this board (obviously appreciate it isn't just you organising this, but you are our ears and eyes on the ground!).
Just wondering with the popularity of these events whether you've considered a non-car related location with much larger capacity for us to all meet? Or even a PH show? Obviously being free plays an important part for many, but imagine an event where we had 1000-2000 cars of such amazing variation, it would be incredible.
Plus think Monkey should be dragged along to one of these to give his critique on every single car as only he can

Certainly logging in later in the day tends to only be good enough for the subs bench. I may be a minority here, but it's a pisser, that's for sure.
You're not on the list. Put yourself down because we'll do our best to get the list down. We definitely got nearly 130 extras in for the Aston SS by reminding people to take themselves off.Stuart said:

I did that and was 855 on the list. And yet, the list shows someone else at 855 and doesn't skip a number. Safe to say that option doesn't work, then?
ETA. Might be 857? feasible two people added themselves while I was doing the same.

When will we know who has got in & who hasn't? Hope I get in as haven't been lucky enough to make the list at past events.
Fingers crossed.
The list is typically printed off first thing on that morning, so if you have made it within the first 700 by that point, your in (as far as I'm aware).Fingers crossed.
You are only around 750 at the moment, so reckon you'll be in within the next week or two. Just look out for the emails.

We'll leave it as late as possible to print the lists out. If we can print at Silverstone, it'll be at about 7:30am on the day. If not, it'll be when the last of us leaves home - more than likely at about 5:30am.Fingers crossed.
Rest assured we'll do our best to get you in!

I am really torn on which day to go, the world record attempt is on the Saturday but there is qualifying and practise on that day. Sunday is all racing but no world record attempt, i am just as interested in seeing the road cars ( well the rare ones anyway ) so will there be a big turnout of road cars on the Sunday ? i really am in a dilemma
