And the tickets could be bought on the day if need be?
yes you can buy on the day but it's a few quid more than the £10 I believe
From what Ive just read they are 15 squid on the gate or 20 for the weekend, In advance 10 quid or 15 for the weekend.

At least those of us who fail to make the 700 can pay to get in so not such a problem. It'll be a great day out.

What's the gist with a Sunday Service? I've never been and have that weekend off an would like to spend it with my little man. We had planed to go to a local show (where they will have Spitfires!) but I think I'll prefer this.

Are there static displays and things that aren't too noisy that you can wander around?

Normally it is how ever many members of the forums all park up in 1 place, appreciate the cars on view and they are normally held somewhere that has something of interest to look at i.e last sunday it was the Aston Martin H.Q http://www.pistonheads.com/gassing/topic.asp?h=0&a... and the week before The Porsche expirence centre at Silverstone http://www.pistonheads.com/gassing/topic.asp?h=0&a... So there are things to look at, the ones at Silverstone are always going to be a little noiser due to the fact there is usually a race event on the same day.
Buy the boy a set of earplugs if the noise bothers him as the view surely wont wink

As above really. This one will be a bit noisier, but a set of kiddie peltors should enable you to start the boy's education in the correct way, whilst leaving him free to damage his own hearing later in life having inherited your obsession. biggrin

How tight is the parking going to be for us? Enough room to walk around enjoying the cars as we do at other SS's?

Absolutely. We'll need to be disciplined of course as ever, but I'm assured that the area we have is more than adequate. The constraint is the number of tickets we have to get you through the door, not so much the amount of tarmac available.

Really looking forward to this one, got a mate to finally sign up to PH a few nights ago and he's on the list to go to this aswell, unfortunately this will also be the first time his Mrs meets me and I'm not sure their relationship is ready for that hehe

@Stuart

I'm sure this has already been thought of, but will you be sending out a gift aid form with the event email so people can complete this (prior to arriving) so Mission Motorsport can claim back the tax?

Meaning that if we give £10 using Gift Aid, it's worth £12.50 to Mission. Wins all round.

Stuart

Just thought weather permitting I might turn up in a different car to the one specified when putting my name down.

Will this make a difference?

Cheers

what I meant when I said is it worth me putting my name on the list is that I have already got tickets for the whole event, so will be there anyway. there are lots of PH'ers who havent got tickets so by not putting my name down I free up a space for some one without tickets.

thanks.
