Atmosphere as always was extremely friendly especially meeting the owner in an lovely orange GT3 RS giving us valuable info to decide which RS to buy ourselves.
No problem chap - drop me a PM if you have any other questions Was going to pop back over but you left as me and the misses were eating our picnic.

Give it a rest with this attitude will you. I gave them some, knowing that there would be collections for a very worthwhile cause. Others may have been in a different position, so don't sit here telling people they should be ashamed of themselves. We all do what we can. My workplace is bad enough with consistent charity collections, yet I always try and do the best I can.
Some people may think differently about it, or have other reasons, and while even a pound or two counts, I don't see it fair to make people feel guilty for not providing a blank cheque at the door. If you gave generously then that's great. Those who did will feel good about contributing.

Anything is a contribution, regardless of how big or small and such Mission Motorsport are delighted with £2400 they didn't have prior to Sunday.

£2400?!
Those of you who didn't contribute should feel bloody ashamed! And for those that have said 'I didn't have much money on me...', come on, no one goes to an event like that without a bean on them. Everyone on the list knew that contributions would be welcomed so everyone should have come prepared. No excuse.
I feel angry and saddened by the number of spongers that were obviously there

Nothing worse then people trying to pressure you in to giving - leaves a horribly bad taste in the mouth.
To highlight that fact, the Mission Motorsport guys were more than happy to walk away from a car with 1p, £10 or nothing at all. No pressure, and as I said in the article we were amazed to hear we'd raised £2400! To me that's an astonishing amount.
The event was a free Sunday Service with optional donation opportunity.

I'll second this. Having spent most of the morning at the gate, I was really quite overwhelmed by everyone and their generosity. Almost every single car that I gave tickets into donated. No matter how small, they still donated. The event was a free Sunday Service with optional donation opportunity.
Keep it up PHers. You're a top bunch!

Agreed, everyone I saw donated something. The event was a free Sunday Service with optional donation opportunity.
Anyway, what a good day out! Thanks to Ferrari and PH for organising it.

No real excuse now that the website for donations is known. I didn't see the guys doing collections whilst I was wandering around and I arrived too late to catch them, so I e-mailed the charity this morning and added my donation via the site.
I have £7 as only had about £20 on me and knew food would be expensive at it was £4.10 for a cheeseburger! Will donate some more money online however surprised at the total averaging at £4 each I felt bad giving what I did and I was running about in a Clio thought the people who could afford a TVR/Porsche etc.. would be a bit more generous...
Some of us poor TVR owners, with more foresight than fores**n, made a few sandwiches before we left home and stuck them in the car boot at 6.30 am. Stuck the difference in the bucket and enjoyed a tasty snack in the car park at 13.00

We're the poorest of the lot...This, for me, was about a gesture and by all accounts, the quantum was much appreciated. Celebrate that.
