Q1. what time should i aim to be there (Sunday)
Q2. Are tickets available on the day.

1) Anytime you like. But if its sunny BE THERE EARLY or else you won't get the spot you want. We'll arrive a little before eight (or possibly earlier!).

2) Not sure. Sorry.

There always seem to be tickets available on the day at Tuscan/GT/Caterham racing. I sometimes get tickets in advance, but have never had a problem buying them on the day.

I also often arrive late morning/lunchtime having failed to get out of bed early, and ok you don't get the best spot but there's no problem seeing plenty of action from various parts of the circuit. Enjoy!

Good days practicing/racing today, cloudy but warm lots of nice cars about too... The Marcos owners were out in force along with lots of Tiv's with the odd Porsche throw in for good measure.

Should be a good day tomorrow.

PS: Thanks to the guy in the left hand drive 348 on the M4 for making the drive home fun....... Nice blonde in the car too

Just saying "hi" back to Ted. Starting a collection of your cards, 2 now. Must be expensive tucking them under wiper's that display your stickers

I too had a fantastic weekend, Saturday parked on the grass by the Car Club truck, next door but one to a redish Tuscan with a lady asleep in the passenger seat.
Sunday in the field behind.

No - I'd left by then.
This was in the GT's, Camp Corner(?) last one before the start/finish line.
A Ferrari Lost it, which caused the Porsche to spin and as he was recovering the Saleen came hooning round the corner and T-Boned him. It happened before my eyes and was chilling to see, the Porsche carried on along the grass engine running with the driver stunned/KO'd in the seat, took them ages to get him out on a stretcher - good news was he gave a thumbs up as they put him in the ambulance, but it didn't look good.

Great day, sunstroke though, so sick and sh1ts last night :-(

Didn't get out of bed in time to park with other TIV's and didn't get a card either....!

The Saleen made more of a noise whn he hit the Porsche, why did the guy in the 911 move??, the Saleen would have missed him (easy for me to say, bet he was sh1tting himself!!)

I've not heard how badly hurt he was, hope he's OK.

No in the GT's earlier, but that was quite a funny off, no-one hurt, 911 GT? being used as a combine harvestor!!!!!!!!!! Tower corner looks simple as a spectator, but I'm told it has a nasty off camber on the exit, plus this guy missed the apex by a mile...

Update on the injuries from 10-tenths forum:

The driver of the Porsche was Tony Littlejohn, apparently he has a chipped bone in his arm and had taken a bump to the head so was being observed to check he was all OK.

Geoff Lister was the Saleen driver, he suffered a nasty cut to his leg.

I managed to get photo's of the Saleen and Porsche damage. Would it be too sick to post them? - Ted?

Mark,

Both drivers are alive and relatively well given the force of the impact. I don't think it's morbid for us to take a look at the damage to the cars.
