Here's a wild idea...but couldn't you just walk over to the area of the circuit where the track sessions are. Sillystone isn't that big.
You could of course, but that divides the event up a bit, doesn't it? Not a huge deal but would be nice to keep it all together, that's all.

At the very least it will an aural treat, and provide a constant fear of squirp-squirp-squeeeeel-crunk-tinkle* noises

(how a track day 'incident' sounds in my head)

The Track action is not PH SS related...other than it happens to be the same day.
It is a "Novice Track Taster Day":

PH staffers: please correct me if I'm wrong.

Can I ask what people do about insurance for these track day tasters? I want to sign up but am worried about the consequences if something went wrong.

Drive within your limits / and or the cars limits, keep distances plentiful.

You will be fine.

On balance, I'd possibly consider letting him have my space for a ride in...I'd definitely be doing him a massive favour though

Nah, I paid £850 for it, he paid £21,000 for it in 1995. Liked his MR2s though, traded a 1990 MR2 against this one.

Why not put your name down now? It's amazing how many people drop out the day before.

On the subject of insurance for the track, can we just agree to be gentle with each other?
