That'd be my RS I guess.... I trust you had no issues with my driving ;-)
As it was a novice day, none of us can be too upset really. It was my first time on track with the RS and while I had a whale of a time, it was clear a few folks out there were just learning and getting in the way a bit (ahem, the Minis!). Still in the main, I felt driving standards were higher than I expected, no one made contact with the barriers (that I noticed), so it was a good day. I hope PH can get similar events organised in the future.
Haha, yeah my issue is your cars too quick and it's not fair As it was a novice day, none of us can be too upset really. I'm sure I saw you cock a leg going around maggots!
For the record I did not start the thread and all I did was raise my hand once for disapproval and somehow somebody got a sneaky shot of it...great pic though! Whoever took the pic would I be able to get a copy of that as I would love to stick that one up in the office
For anyone wondering about first time track days, from personal experience Bedford is brillaint. There is loads of room on track and tonnes of run-off if and when it all goes pear shaped...which it will. On a novice day there are limited cars out at once so you can either follow a mate or generate loads of space for yourself.

I don't have my 356 any more (), I was driving the white (non-stickered) Focus RS. I'm almost finished with my Can Am build and have really enjoyed it. If you can put a Cossie motor in an Escort, you should be OK with building an Ultima
I'm sure I saw a an old Porsche out on track in our session, but must have been mistaken. Both the focus on track seemed to be going very well. At least you've replaced the 356 with an ultima, both lovely cars,

Someone else said they thought the RS was picking up a wheel... I guess that means I was trying then ;-)I'm sure I saw you cock a leg going around maggots!

It's OK, I know you didn't start it... This is PH tho' and nothing goes unnoticed, not even a brief arm gesture, LOL!!
You're the 2nd person to recommend Bedford. Once the Ultima is on the road, I think that'll be a perfect place to get to know it.

I missed the Escort on track but great to see it in the paddock
It was a great sight. Two ferraris, Porsches an Aston Martin and the fab escort all on the track at the same time. 93Jay said:

That escort sounded absolutley amazing. Just the sound of such a loud blow off valve does it for me. Does anybody know anything about the black 599? It looked slightly modifed. And the white focus RS with RS stickers on, as that thing sounded really good and different from the other white focus RS on at the same time.
As Steve has just said the 599 was twin supercharged.... the non-stickered RS is mine (MP350+ spec with Miltek exhaust), the stickered RS is a friend's and has the same mods as my car plus a sports cat, 3" downpipe, new injectors and Collins remap. It's the cat & downpipe that made the big difference to the sounds of Tim's car... I'll be adding those next mth 356Speedster said:

Isn't the RS stickered one running 420bhp now Mark ?
That was the stated power rating from the tuner, but Tim is debating that.... as you saw on the day it's heavily over-fueling and he was saying it doesn't feel any faster than in Mountune spec. Curious one, I'm sure we'll hear more in due course!Apologies - I started at position 820-ish, and was checking progress up the list all week; it didn't seem to be moving & that was that. Then last night I logged into my webmail account, checked the spam box as I do every couple of weeks, and there's the mail saying I was on the list.
Stupid spam filter, and not my fault at all for not checking it (or my position on the list) earlier. Well, maybe slightly my fault
