The rally generally attracts between 135-150 cars. If we could put together a nice little PH entry of around 8-10 cars I think that would be very cool. It would also make it easier to 'lose' a more modern car like the Boxter in the melee
Each crew will need to enter themselves, however I'm quite happy to get it all worked out before then with Bruno in France. The best idea is to get a clear idea of who is definitely up for it and then we can get everything sorted. Nobody is able to enter for another few weeks anyway. How about a PH list:

Spoke to Bruno last night, I said I'm aiming to encourage a group of up to around 10 cars to make the trip over. I asked about the Boxter, he said all ok so if you're keen then you're in! Add to the list below if so.My boxster is red with black wheels

Another different question I'm afraid.
In 2012 a mate & I took part in a similar type of event in Laon with my 1965 Lotus Elan S2. However, the route took us over "roads" that we would class as bad quality farm tracks in the UK, & about 2/3rds of the way around, & after having to stop twice & put the exhaust back on (the route map warned of rough surfaces ahead!!!) we gave up & headed straight back to Laon via main roads for the finish point.
Earlier this year we drove back from Montlehry to Calais via mostly minor roads & small villages, no problem. These roads were fine (though some of the speed humps were a bit vicious)
Can I ask what the roads are likely to be like please?
PS - for the Laon event there was a km / miles conversion shown on the route map, however the conversion had been done multiplying by 8/5 instead of 5/8. We didn't notice this until after the start, & it took as a while to work out what was happening as we were reaching the expected marked route points way too soon measuring in miles!!

We do the Poitiers Elegance Automobile every year and this sounds like a similar "hoot" - why not?

Great fun though, but I would say it's more of a classic event.
Yer know that thing where everyone says you'll feel a bit of a twit if you don't dress in period rig for Goodwood? It's a bit like that. Too modern just looks wrong. As mentioned earlier, it's more gravelly B-road than smooth Tarmac.
Going along what was essentially a tow path was fun though, as was having a microphone thrust in my face as we crossed the finish, to be bombarded with a string of rapid-fire questions......in French. So in desperation I just said "We're British! Beautiful weather, beautiful scenery and beautiful cars. Thanks! Vive la France!". They seemed to like that.

By getting the route correct and, most importantly, doing it in style Don't get it. How is it competitive?
Style in the UK = making sure your car is MSA compliant and keeping to a high gear while going through villages.
Style in France = skids, shooting flames out the back and hitting the limiter for hour after hour.
Clear?
