I opted for the tin top and glad i did too but good to see someone in a KTM X-bow attempted it!

Thanks to the PH boys for organising another good SS event.

Made it in just after 9:30 and got directed to the chicane(overflow) car park, not quite sure what that was about as there were some nice cars there that a lot of people would have missed and it wasnt exactly crowded on the track.

Can't understand why everyone left so early?
Went for a Breakfast in the Aero Club, came out to find the pit straight empty and the car parks emptying very fast it was only about 11:30?
I arrived at 0930 only to be parked in the overflow car park as apparently it was full, walked in and there was loads of space! The pit lane was a 60% utilised and the paddock areas had space for more cars.

Went in the cafe, had a brekki, came out and the place was half empty..... When I got back to my R8 V10 Spyder dumped in the overflow car park there was a Fezza 458 and a number of other nice cars there.

Overall, the most dissapointin Good wood SS Ive been too, should have got more cars into the main event as it will inevitably empty very quickly and then you are left with a load of bog standard diesel Ibiza's which if I wanted to look at them I'd just walk down my road....

Was indeed a good run. Surprisingly, the weather wasn't too bad on the run down.

Need to get that video of the Viper man. First proper drive in the car since I had the exhaust done. That tunnel did get a little noisy hehe
Mark (viper man or fatboy 18) recorded the whole trip from Guilford to parking. Imagine it will take a while to sort out or whatever type of majik it takes to make it viewable

I got there at 9.10ish and estimate that the first to leave went about 1/2 hour later...irked

As the poster above,i was a little disapointed by all the early leavers.

Pics to follow when sorted through....biggrin

I even had to put the Fiat hood up on the way home as traffic not moving fast enough

to send rain over the top.

Nice talking to you Hayling Jag..biggrin

I got there around 9.45am.. and also puzzlingly put in the overflow, when still loads of space in the main straight, and padock area. confused

Shame to see people leaving so early, but maybe it was damp and 'orrible, and considering not a bad turnout for December.. Didn't see that many special motors, and certainly a high proportion of 'dailys'.;)

Apologies Mark if you saw a flash on the a3 on the way down. My eldest is 10 and was trying to get some photos, used auto mode and set the camera flash off. I know there's no speed cameras but I told him not to frighten the bee-jesus out of people with fast cars smile

Back home - a bit short lived as my youngest was cold and wet courtesy of the mizzle.

A thanks to the guys in the TVRs, porsche, yellow noble and the Viper that we tagged on the back of from Guildford - my kids really appreciated the tunnel run smile
My ears were ringing for ages after we left that tunnel.
Maybe roof off wasn't the wisest, but it was 'entertaining' smile

My first Sunday Service and definitely won't be the last. Fantastic array of eclectic and wonderful machines topped off with incredibly friendly crowd and organic sausages....what's not to like?!

Only slight disappointment was that so many left early. Arrived at c.10 and it was roughly a third full. Must get there earlier next time.

Nice convoy on way out, black ZR1 which sounded amazing, black GT3 and a yellow T5R all came up behind me - I was in the black 360 smile

See you all next time!

Good turnout for the weather, although (with a couple of exceptions) an understandable lack of supercars.

Great turnout guys considering the dull damp weather, a really good selection of different metal.

I was one of those that arrived at 8am and had to go by 9:30 to ferry children to various parties etc. but glad to have time with a couple of PH's who knew a lot more about my F10 M5 engine than I did - Thanks, I know how it works and what those two aluminium boxes are at the front of the engine are now!

Happy Christmas everyone and drive safely beer

Cheers fella!

No worries about the door, it's just a bit annoying. 30 quid for a new latch and a couple of hours fannying about to fit.

Just about the only Metro part left in the car, along with the petrol tank, which also needs replacing!
