Brilliant morning outing. Some lovely and interesting cars, usual friendly faces about.

Did notice some guys being pretty vulgure and taking the piss out of people with cars that didn't cost more than the average 2 bed house, not nice to see. One poor guy looked pretty upset by them, odd thing was that particular car they were taking the piss out of (in front of the owner) was pretty interesting!
I've got no time for that nono
We all started somewhere, I've had my fair share of crap looking daily drivers, would be interesting to know what they were driving?

That's properly out of order. First time I've heard of such behaviour at a PH event...

Good job they didn't say anything to me - wasn't in the best mood!

Did anyone hear any comments about my Fiesta? I wasn't with the car much of the time so not really sure what people thought!

Last year we had a couple of Ladas and I was the only person to have a Daihatsu. Cheap and cheerful is always a good addition biggrin

It was a good morning. Shame the weather wasn't the greatest. I must admit I heard a few people making some comments about the car. Someone called my mates 135i a fake 1m. Bit rude tbh.

I like these events for the diversity. Anyone who went this morning desrves recognition as weather was offputting, enjoyed the wander around and seeing lots of cars that i never seen before at previous SS's. Thanks to PH for organising!

That's not on! I also heard someone say that a friends 1 series looked like an X1 due to the standard ride height.... less than ideal really.

Can't believe what I'm hearing has happened. I love cars from all sizes & price ranges, sub £500, £10k or several million.

I love the verity & diversity of the cars there & always find it enjoyable to see a car like Audi R8's parked next to old Mazda MX-5's & an Audi S5 next to a classic Mini for example.

Anyway. Back to today & I thought despite the weather, I really enjoyed it! So many great cars, very friendly people who were happy to have a chat & two of them, (the owner of the 1960 Morris Mini & the guy from Autocar with the BMW i3) even allowed me to sit in their cars.

I even did a little comparison between the i3, mini & an Audi A2 & found that cars have moved on at a slower pace then I thought.

I even heard the melodies of a Lamborghini Gallardo, Rover SD1 V8, Chevrolet Camaro, a Lancia Fulvia & a very loud Lotus Esprit. I was also wondering why was there a huge gathering of Reliant Scimitars there (one of each generation) & I'm guessing it's an early 50th birthday party & I even took pics of them one by one. (sadly only my phone was working by then so took the pics on it instead)

Took so many pics but currently my cameras battery's are on charge so may be a while before I share them.

P.S. Sorry to hear about accident involving a Clio V6. Hope the driver & passenger are ok.

Rob.

My first ph sunday service, and well done to all the cars that showed up in the weather. highlight for me was the lotus carlton, v6 clios and the cream original mini. Does anyone have any photos of the delorean that my friend dan drove me down in? I was meant to take photos, but forgot my camera due to the early start.

Cheers

BB.

Must say the bacon rolls weren't worth the money. I'm sure mass catering is tricky but burnt, dry bacon for nigh on a fiver wasn't good. MBW was much better
The last time I went to Goodwood, I am pretty sure my sausage in a baguette wasn't cooked properly, chucked it in the bin.

yeah, certainly no garage queens there today. the delorean, lotus carlton and lancia fulvia were my faves.
