Was there last time and confirm it was a good way to spend a sunday.....
Re age: there was supposed to be a lower limit last time I think but there were a couple of youngsters there.
The talk gets a bit "over their heads" but the people who did the last talk did try to include them/her.
Granddaughter aged 7 at the last visit ... she really enjoyed it and loves watching Vulcan take off (which we are often able to do as we live so close to Finningley)

I took my 13 year old lad to the last one. Great visit and thoroughly recommended. Make sure you pick up a copy of the Vulcan Haynes manual!

Contact them to check, you will be able to go definitely but I'm not sure what they will charge.

Sadly I can't make it, but curiosity got the better of me, so I checked out the procedure. And guess what?

THERE ARE STILL PLACES AVAILABLE !!!!!

48 hours after announcement, and still available. I missed the Aston SS as it was gone within 2 hours!!?

We have a Vulcan on display at the SAC Museum in Nebraska. I've had the privilege of seeing it many times!

Is there a lower age limit as my 10 year old son is desperate to visit the Vulcan?

Steve
Last time they did this Steve I took my lad along and he was only 10....no problems at all. He really enjoyed the experience.

Me neither and I've just booked it, can't wait. I've seen XH558 fly a few times but this should be a good day out.

I went last year. Well worth the trip. I have since read the book about the Falklands mission. An amazing story. If you are going, make sure you read the book first! It makes the trip even more meaningful.

Just booked for the old man and I, very excited! Got the Haynes Manual from PH Secret Santa, so I might be able to give them a hand with the service too winkconfused

Likewise, box for names of all going but not car details?

PH Janitor, any word?
