Hi! byebye I do remember seeing you a couple of times, but must admit I didn't take in too many details as I was trying to fend off 550M's pesky GT2 which was giving me grief most of the session biglaugh

Power-wise, yes (just an exhaust and intake which add a bit more growl than any real performance), but KW Clubsport suspension and AP Racing 6/4 pots help make up for some OEM deficiencies in those areas biggrin

Had the car a long time, so pretty used to it by now, and have done quite a few trackdays in the past too which probably helps smile The car does surprise some people though. I think the Z4Ms are wildly underrated - most people opt for the more obvious M3/CSLs for track toys. I like that it's a bit more unique as a result though!

Just another note too to add thanks to those organising. Another in a line of great PH SS meets! smile

The speed difference between your car and mine when you went past on the main straight was massive, and I'd buried my foot out the last corner!

Think I was in the same session as you, I was driving a grey mk3 MX5 with the brown roof. Probably holding you up a lot for which I can only apologise!
Hi, yeah I think I saw you. No need to apologise, no issues at my end, as long as you had fun!

Loved the fd2. Did you find a good picture to buy? I was in my dc5 integra, I have only owned for a few weeks so was great for a taster session. Bring on brands in a few weeks. smile
Hi, thanks, good to meet you briefly. Pics? I bought them all!

Enjoy brands!

Great day out, thank you PH and all the Silverstone staff for arrangements, well worth the 5am start...
Was funny seeing you one the M40 on the way home, just before I turned off for the A404! Did you guess I'd been at the SS?

Thank you PH and Silverstone for arranging a wonderful morning, and some blue sky.

I always enjoy the mix of cars that attend and the track action was great to watch, even from the pit wall.

I will post the photos in the photo thread after work, but thanks again!

Another excellent Sunday Service. Really enjoyed the track action, and seeing some of the cars at full chat! I hope to get my car on track next time. Tony (Impreza STI with the stickers)

quick question, where the door seals on yours run up the windscreen frame, is that how it came out of the factory? They didn't go as far up on mine

Oooh! Any chance of a copy, or a link if you can upload it? One side of the car I rarely get to see (or rather hear), from the outside... smile

Yeah sure, I'll get it up on youtube this evening after work and stick the link up.

Its only an iPhone video so nothing high quality, but still, get to hear what a sound it makes

I recognise the number plate, you've been to the south east meets at the grasshopper before haven't you?

That white GT3 looked the nuts going round! The 9am session was definitely the better of the two I did.

I've got the two of you flying by me in the Mazda; I'll edit it down into a clip and post it up in a bit. Speed differential is ... noticeable. You weren't in the frame for long! Looked great though - I saw you coming in the mirror and thought 'uh-oh, here come the big boys!'

Anyone catch my silver Civic CTR FD2 (silver saloon with rear spoiler) on track from the pitwall? Pics welcome - also interested to know how loud it sounded, as it was pretty loud behind the wheel at 8600rpm!
