What a fantastic day; again my Saab sat in the corner unnoticed, but that's nothing new :-)
The highlight was the Enzo driver allowing my son to sit in his car & have some pics taken, very nice guy.
The metal & plastic (& carbon I suppose) on show was amazing - thank you PH for a great day out.
BFleming, was it the Saab parked next to the red 360? If so, somebody did at least get it in the shot http://www.flickr.com/photos/dele-himself/13195078... - I know, I was parked on the other side of it wink

And here's the vid with your Elise in it.

You're not in it for long though, the little Eunos wasn't going to keep up with you at the rate you were going.

Cheers,

Dan

Cheers! And thanks for the courtesy on the main straight. You did quite well through Becketts if you were only on eco tyres...clap
And Dan - I had a superb ringside view of your "moment" going through Brooklands into Luffield! I was driving the red Noble behind your Eunos, when you demonstrated how drifting really should be done! Waiting for my son to upload his GoPro footage from inside my car, so will post a link smile

Ah yes! The way you took off after the marshal's car went in I wasn't surprised to see you come full circle and lap me. Lovely car, looked great on the track.

Look forward to the footage!

Here you go - 0:56 is the first glimpse in the mirror of what's about to blast past. You don't stay in shot very long!

Awesome thanks Dan, you've made my afternoon seeing that. I remember that moment well!

Thanks for my first Sunday Service, it was great! Nice that it was only 5 mins down the road too...

Who did the 205 'K2 CBP' belong to? I'm interested in your wheels and suspension set up.

Does anyone have further footage from the first session (9am) either from the track or pitlane, would be great to have a momento of my car in action from the day, or photo.

thanks smile

bit here of the 9am session, mainly of things going past me!!!
skip to around 12 minutes to avoid the pit lane boredom,

Oh my, had no idea I cut in quite so close to you there, sorry! Small case of the red mist while chasing the C63 I think...

Any clips of the M or Fanjita's antics in the Corrado R32 would be well received!

no worries at all, one thing with driving an MX is you learn to look through the side windows through the corners and through the rear view as soon as you hit the straightslaugh

The red golf GTI, sorry it must be a pain finding footage, but would really appreciate it!

Yes, my son Adam has in-car GoPro footage of the whole session, from my car - red Noble. I haven't seen it yet as he's now back at Uni, but I'm encouraging him to post it asap.

This was taken from the journey to Silverstone on the A413 smile

Thanks for that - that's Junior & I in the GT2! Sounds good from the outside - it sounded quite quiet from the inside, so we wound the windows down, resulting in a Back Flag quite early on!!! The marshal was quite cool about though thankfully., but we did have to have the windows at least 3/4 up....

BTW, I'm reasonably sure that you've really got a quad turbo and supercharged re-map in that Z4M sixspeed !!! biggrin

A big thank you to Pistonheads for organising this SS, easily the best one I've been to.

Nice one, btw watching your cornering 'technique' from behind was admirable, I was chuckling to myself whilst trying to concentrate on not crashing!

Definitely the best Sunday service I've attended over the last 2 years. Aside from the weather and great cars in the car park, the track option - whether watching from the pits or taking part n your own car, gives it an edge I think other venues will struggle to better. I imagine the Silverstone calendar is usually pretty booked up.

Thank you to Pistonheads and Silverstone for what was a memorable day

Was good fun watching sixspeed chasing you down each time, both cars sounded truly amazing smile

I did envy you though, I really wished I had booked track time. I tried to get some while there but could only get half 2 which was a bit late.

I want to get some experience in the Trophy before the 'ring and Silverstone was ideal as i've driven it before in a TTRS, RS5, R8 and GTR

Not sure where else to put these so excuse the interuption if theres a dedicated wallpapers thread somewhere. Took these yesterday and though they'd make some nice wallpapers, i've done 16x9 and 16x10 aspect ratios for 1920x 1200 and 1080 respectively and one dualscreen too at 3840x 1200 and 1080. If you'd like a specific size making for your screen let me know and i'll make one up and post it here for others to find.

Here's some small res ones to have a look, the full res links are in the folder underneath.

Great session at 9am! I was driving the red Noble - 16'16" on the video.
Really courteous driving by all, novice and experienced alike.
Lovely noble you have there - I remember chatting to you at the elvetham heath show last year and being quite jealous of it then as well!

Didn't see much of you on track - we must have been circulating on opposite sides of the track the whole session..

Paul.
