Car needs a wash but have run out of time today; early start with the cleaning products! Looks like a great variety of cars and am looking forward to bringing my daughter to her first Sunday Service!

Wishing everyone a safe journey and watch out for those M1 speed cameras!

Afraid I have to bow out of this one now due to unforseen child caring duties! Although she likes being in daddies car, I think it would be unfair to wake her up early and take her for a ride around the M25 and up the M1 before breakfast!

Hope everyone has a great time. I've been to the Heritage Centre many times before and there's always something interesting to see.

Oh well!...at least there's the Simply Vauxhall show at Beaulieu next Sunday to go too!

Can't speak officially, but they're not taking names at the gate and there's plenty of room.

Yet another super SS from Vauxhall

They really put on a good show and care for attendees!

Super museum and collection or rare and interesting cars.

Excellent catering and parking and additional fun with the silly cart race competition! (was third last I saw smile )

Relaxing bunch of PH folk too.

Added bonus of free SS T-Shirt and PH sticker! Very much unexpected and appreciated!

Massive thanks for Vauxhall and to the PH crew smile

What a well organised Sunday Service it was - the PH road signs and volunteers were very helpful. It was a great day and felt much more like the old PH meets when they were smaller and very friendly with folks sharing a keen interest in all things petrolhead minded.

Really enjoyed the museum cars and think that the VX Lightning Concept should definitely have made it into production - it looked so fresh and stylish even though it is now an 11yr old design!

There was a really nice mix of cars today and many were in tip-top condition. Even the weather was on our side.

Lovely morning! Staff were fantastic, some nice cheeky banter with the catering van staff :-) and free t-shirt and sticker made the 'icing on the cake' so to speak!
Weather held off, nice run up from Portsmouth, and was great to see some of the more unusual Vauxhall stuff!
And top marks to the cheeky sticker on the back of the white LC in the car park, you sir have a gold star!! ;-)

Great morning, good to chat with attendees new and old and thanks to those at Vauxhall who made it happen.

Only disappointment I guess was the low turnout from PH members but those that did attend have some lovely cars.

This was my first PH meet. Thank you to all organisers that made today possible and thank your for the PH sticker.

The sign posts along the road were a god send and made reaching the location painless.

There was a very good atmosphere at the event and I really enjoyed the karts and museum cars.

A great morning and a massive thanks to all of the organisers and staff. thumbup

My grandfather worked at Vauxhall from 1967 until the mid eighties. - He moved the family down to Luton after the coal mine he worked at in Fife was destroyed in a fire (depriving the area of most of it's employment literally overnight). My Dad was 15 at the time and a few years later, before going off to university, he ended-up with a summer job in the parts department.

I took Dad with me today and I could see the memories of all the '60s and '70s models flooding back before his eyes. He even took me past their old house on the way home. Shame the factory is no longer making cars...a lot of history lost there.
