Not that long back and what a great event, I was there for both days displaying my mini in the mini parking area, (the supercharged 8 port if anyone saw it), and thoroughly enjoyed it, just a bit knackered now and I expect I'll be worse tomorrow! Its a four hour drive back..

Shame as was on my list of events to visit but never made it there.

Any idea why it’s stopped. Seemed to attract a decent crowd.

Yes, we’ve been for the past few years and it seemed to be getting better and better, and was well attended (both competitors and visitors). What a shame. I hope it will make a return in the future! Thank you to the organisers for the previous events.

It appears that not only did the owners of the hotel decide not to organise a hill climb for 2020, they have made the decision to close up completely now given the health pandemic - all very sad given the hill climb had a nice family feel to it. I hope whoever buys the hotel can open it up again for a hill climb again in the future.

Likewise, went last year for the 1st time with my son and we both loved it.

Was planning on going again this year.

They’ve been branching out into more events recently, but the hotel and facilities are pretty dated and unremarkable so I’m not surprised they have been struggling a bit.

Hopefully they’ll get a new owner who can invest, and the hill climb can return.
