I'm Huw, One of the organisers of Revolve24.

Great to have you along at Brands Hatch - looking forward to seeing some great cars. If your cars have enough room (!) and you fancy making some room in your garage can you bring along any old, unwanted or unloved bikes that you have.

We are collecting them for Recycles (http://www.recycles-swindon.co.uk) a cahity who give homeless people the chance to rebuild their lives - through rebuilding unwanted bikes. These are then sold or rented out.

There will be a collection point marked when you get into Brands.

Thanks very much if you can

Cheers

Now this is a proper Sunday Service!
Cycling (albeit for a good cause) and no car interest other than wondering round a car park? Sorry chap, not "proper" IMO.
Erm it's at one of the world's most iconic race tracks...someone order up a parrot...
With a cycle race.

It's a car forum, why would I want to watch cyclists?
The cyclists are racing!!!??? I thought it was target practise! laugh
I know, I'm going straight to hell.

personally not a cycle fan.

At least they're trapped within the circuit compounds, than causing obstructions/nuisance to other road users while racing on public roads.

I'm thinking of spending an hour or so at Brands and then going to one of those.

Do we need to print anything and bring it with us to gain entry?

I've had to withdraw from the solo 24, so I'll be riding the 6 hour race too.

Weather is looking better than predicted earlier.

Hoping it stays that way and we can come on the RR.

Is this even for general entry or entry to the bike race?

I was just going to turn up for a look around.

I'm afraid I'm not sure about the general bike race - but for the PH event / parking and to be part of the sunday service you'll need to sign up on the calendar and print out your windscreen badge (there is still space!)

Has anyone else had their email with windscreen pass yet ?
Also does anyone know if the parking area is on grass or Tarmac?
Thanks

Article says "lower paddock" which is all tarmac.

It's basically where all racers park and prepare their cars at a race meet.
