God I missed PHSS's!!

Today's meet was awesome from the moment I showed up. A fantastic selection of cars, great/not wet weather, the perfect backdrop, well organised & loads of friendly people there who I absolutely enjoyed meeting & chatting to, including a certain You Tube celebrity & his F-Type!!

It was so much fun I almost couldn't stop enjoying myself & taking loads of pictures of as many cars I can see! The result? 763 pictures!

Only one flaw, I've been staying at Butlins in nearby Bognor Regis & sadly, I don't have my trusty computer to put them all on Flickr. I tried to upload on my tablet & it couldn't be bothered!

The pics will be here tomorrow evening once I'm back from Butlins.

Not sure if anyone else saw it, but I was joined from the A280 junction on the A27 at Clapham by a 'Back to the Future' DeLorean. I assumed it was coming to Goodwood and we ambled along together until the Portfield Roundabout when to my surprise he continued west on the A27.
See him around the area regularly as he lives fairly nearby I believe. Will have just been out using the car! (has attended previous SS's and Breakfast Clubs at Goodwood though)

A dark and drizzly start to the day but glad I made the effort. Great morning and nice excuse for a drive out this time of year. Thanks ph.

Paul.

Ps there were a couple of deloreans at the white lion meeting near Hartley wintney which I popped to on the way back.

I brought along the Spectre Prototype. It's been recently road registered so nice to come along to the meet, as been mentioned great morning out and brilliant selection of motors!
Thanks for organising, Mark

Great morning and amazing turn-out, thanks for organising all at PH.
Drive there and back from Reading always interesting.
Return journey saw a Beemer, Lotus, Porker, NSX and Eunos in impromptu convoy.
NSX was quite quick until (presumably) the VVT kicked in then it was very quick whistle
Cheers, Pewe.

To be fair to the Goodwood marshals, they were on minimum staff and there was no event support parking teams in contrast to Breakfast Clubs. The policy appeared to be fill up the paddocks and pit lane, then divert to the car park and try and limit people driving about for the sake of driving about. Which, whilst disappointing for some, does provide the event with a degree of safety for the pedestrians.

That will be why I didn't see your car. I didn't make it over to the car park until quite late in the morning, by which time it was half empty.

I love it that my car was mentioned in the same sentence as a Challenger Hellcat and a 918! Thanks for the great reception guys.

And yes, the only let down was the parking situation which meant many fabulous cars were left out of the way.
Did you happen to follow a green 7 from Billingshurst?

Better late then never! All 762 pictures from a great morning at Goodwood & plenty of them feature a certain guys F-Type as well as all sorts of cars & even people!

Enjoy & hope to come to more SS's again in the future as on the evidence of this one, the SS's still have a bright future after all these years.
