I went both days & i must say. It was a hell of a lot more enjoyable & relaxed then in previous years! Mostly because back when it was a one day showdown, there was a lot to see & so little time to see them. Now with it being two days, even though the shows much bigger then ever, i had time to see everything & with the inclusion of the Top Gear Stunt Team doing three shows a day, i have never been happier.
I also felt nostalgic looking at Murray Walker's own personal tribute collection. F1 legends, bikes & rallycross, he made commentating them his own.
As for the cars, there was a hell of a lot of nice metal & plenty of action on the demo straight too & enjoyed every single second. I know the Holy Trinity ended up being a duo as apparently the 918 broke down, but to see any of them is a treat & a half. As was seeing the Lamborghini & Aston Martin tribute collections too. Heck this one even quite liked the SUV garden because it was in a fantastic setting & there were cars that could be bought by (nearly) everyone!
As for the Top Gear Stunt Team, they made me a really happy boy seeing all that rubber being burnt & how awesome their driving was too!
Oh yeah & the host was great as always & the events team did a fantastic job as always.
To sum it up i can only think of one very good thing. Bring on my pics!
