Still can't book track time.
Did Pistonheads have a partner offering trackday insurance last year? seems overkill to buy a full trackday policy for 30 minutes on track for a single session but will be taking the Huracan on so would like some cover!

Just spoke with them on the phone.
The guy is getting a bit annoyed with having to tell everyone he knows the system is down.
Currently not taking bookings but promising to call everyone back to let us know when it is sorted.
I seem to remember their website crapping itself last year too.

I've also got a helmet I likely won't be using on the day (don't plan to do the track day portion). It's a Medium or Large (I'll check).
Anyone know how much the track day insurance was last year? I may be tempted if it's decent enough.
Thank you for the offer gents, I will certainly take you up on it, shall I just come over on the day? What will you be driving?Anyone know how much the track day insurance was last year? I may be tempted if it's decent enough.
Can I ask for a little clarification (for others as "I'm alright Jack")
Is the 500 max relevant? Last year you extended it to take in to account the (up to) 210 (6 x 35) cars in the paddock and the "Loads of room" at Silverstone?
I have a space on the list and plan (subject to availability once the website is up) to do a bit of track. However some may be put off booking track time if they're outside the 500 as you have said they should put their name down as well as book track time.
Also may be worth putting in bold the request to book in to the Sunday Service if doing track time as some (OK 1) on the reserve list has said "Take your name off if doing tack time"

I am a little confused on what the process is following the technical issues at Silverstone. Some people have posted that they have had calls back from Silverstone and they are working their way through calling everyone back who left a message. I left them a message soon after this thread was posted originally, stating what sessions I wanted to book and my contact details but as yet have had no call or email. What I am confused about is have my two sessions been secured and all I need to do is await a call to collect payment or do I still need to keep checking the website for when it's back up and running and make my booking there before they sell out?
Also as per my previous post, do we know yet if they have instructors available on the day as well?

I'm in a similar boat.Am waiting patiently and hopefully for a call back. It remains to be seen whether this is the right tack of course!
I shouldn't worry too much, below is the email I got back from Silverstone as I have no phone where I am. I think they will contact everyone who left messages when the system is back up and running so you should have a good chance of getting a place.
Thank you for your voicemail.
The link on the site yesterday was not working when it went live to book on to, firstly apologies for that as I know from experience it can be frustrating when trying to book. We found the problem with the link late yesterday and have resolved that, however the whole Silverstone booking system is undergoing maintenance this morning (just t add insult to injury.)
When are you back in the U.K?
Everyone is in the same boat at the moment and cannot book – so please don’t panic.
If you let me know your contact number for when I can contact you that would be helpful as well.
