RE: PH Sunday Service: Aston Martin St Athan 09/04
Discussion
Big thank you to Jack and the rest of the PH team for organising today's event and to Aston Martin for allowing us to join them.
A great SS. It was great to chat with some of the AM staff there such as the designers, the clay modeller and the bespoke trimmer...I'm sure that's not their correct titles but they were really interesting to listen to and they all love what they do - lucky lucky people!
Beautiful cars aplenty.

Despite living only an hour away in Carmarthenshire, we still managed to miss the 8 o clock arrival time and ended up going in my wife's XF........ and felt a little out of place amongst the fine machinery at the event........ and that's before leaving the PH parking area!
Well organised and attended event - the 'dynamic display' sounded better than it looked, but thoroughly enjoyed the 'static' vehicles on show - Hercules included.
Aston's are great, but a certain PHer's Yellow Sagaris stood out above all else, (including the curious green Zagato bodied modern AM - I don't know enough about these to know what lies underneath, but just enough to know it's a little bit 'more'.)

Great morning even with the early 05.30 start from Leicestershire !!
Spookily arrived and parked on the second row directly behind my mates Alfa Spider, he's pretty local (Swansea)
Great location, lots & lots of cars especially Aston's as you'd expect.
Well done to the PH organisers, I'd say a real success especially with the extra exhibits and range of foodie stalls.

Was it your good self we saw on the M50 around Newent just before Ross on Wye? I was in the blue/green TVR Tuscan.Spookily arrived and parked on the second row
Thanks to PH, Jack, and of course, AM for making it all happen - a fanstastic day out - both my wife and I agreed that the most beautiful car there was the AM closest to the sketching and leather work - it was only after we enquired as to what it was that we learnt it was one of only 77 AM One-77's. A cool £1.2M we were told! Guess I'll have to start saving a bit harder!
A couple of shots of some of the AM cars.
Firstly the beautiful AM One-77
Then the line of AM specials and the Herc in the background
A beautifully coloured AM DB11
And a couple of the 'old boys' which were looking splendid!

Yes it was, I did see you parked up when walking around, stunning Tuscan.
Thanks - after today I might be scanning the classified ads and chopping the Tuscan for an AM Vantage!madda said:
I was in the white 240z.
My wife had a 240Z and a 260Z in her youth so we stopped and had a good look - good to see it out and about.Different to other Sunday Services in that it was a one-off event involving a lot more people and organisers and organisation than just PH. Great day for it too!
Great to see (& meet) Andy Palmer (the current 'Mr Aston Martin') who was able to walk around unnoticed and unrecognised by most people despite a huge contingent of AMOC members and AM dealership people there.
Thank you PH team - it was well worth the biscuits!
This was my first Sunday service (mine was the red Mazda 3 mps) , and what one to do! great weather, an awesome collection of ph cars and some real special treats from Aston Martin with the Vulcan and the gt3/lmp cars!
I look forward to the next one now!
