Woo currently 3rd but I know from talking to the staff in the sign on office i was around 18th-20th on the day. It shows top 16 and on the board i believe 16th was high 12.1s from memory.

Does anyone know how many people ran?

Yesterday was my first, and certainly not last, Sunday Service and my first time with PistonHeads. Bless my father who thought I'd got up and gone to church.

First time driven hard since the engine was rebuilt and I go against my good friend H20DJY and his Porsche. Not going to bother posting the times as they were dire but as a first shakedown no complaints.



Had a cracking morning looking at some lovely cars and chatting to some really decent folk.

Thanks, yes it 4wd with completely standard knackered suspension and a boost in power, we launched the crap out of it all day and did a 400 mile round trip and she's still going !

I did wonder about the sus... changing gear was like watching a seesaw!

Ah Mr Twingo! I had no idea your merc would be that quick, as I assumed all 500s had the 302hp SOHC 24v unit, I think because in the US they called yours the 550 but obviously not here. Real stealthy!!

We were in the ratty silver/grey Impreza. Best time of 13.04. Gutted we couldnt get into the 12's!

3rd gear in the Skoda is totally f'in bonkers. Want want want. Awesome stuff!

its just a cheap toyo sport bar and plate cooler with 2.5 inch end tanks nothing special but does keep the intakes at a good level

but also pumping a sh*t load of laughing gas in the intake sorts the job out !


heres the quickest time my my Golf R from yesterday for the list 11.6805 sec 117.93 mph

What did you say the BHP was again mate? Also had a look in your engine bay, was that no air filter or just a very compact one? If it's no filter, how does that work exactly?

It's around 400hp, yes no air filter was fitted as some last minute changes left no room for one and no time left to move the battery

Running no filter is not recommended but at least theres a gauze in the MAF housing to stop big things being sucked in like dogs,cats small children etc
