Duxford spring car show is on Sunday April 30. Lots of car clubs display all around the site and the complete imperial war museum is open to all .
Anyone going?

Was a great turnout apart from long queues getting in poor organisation. There was a pistonheads area there.
Anyone from there on here?

Yes, pistonheads east anglia attend this show which gives you access to Duxford air museum which is a great day out. Massive air museum well worth visiting.
I was there with the east anglia group.
With about 4-500 cars attending and an entrance fee of £12.60p.......... Can you imagine the carnage of trying to get in when this of course means giving change to everyone??????

Only an accountant could work this figure out to get in, and not realise the 2 hours it would take to get through the gates..... Apologies to all other accountants of course.
The stewards were saying that they did not realise so many cars were coming in, although the adverts leaflets all said that more than 400 cars attend every year.
Just to rub additional salt into our wounds, they only opened two entry bays to pay.

There is only one word that concerns the management organization of this show.

If you look at the Sundog photos entry photos there was 900 or so this year and over a 1000 last year as heard lots of people got fed up and turned away (when they eventually could turn) in the holding pens!
