Can someone clarify about the window sticker thing ? I supplied my address but never got anything in the post but I did get an email with a thing to print out and stick in the window. Is this the same thing ?

Oh snap! Noble has been sitting in the garage sparkly clean as it was invited to show.....it was on charge .....or so I thought, until I just went to start it, and if you know Nobles you'll realise jumping it is completely out of the question frown

Well, guess I needn't have bought a ticket...just turned up, parked, and walked straight in.

Agree completely, what a waste of £30. I really am annoyed at that. It was apparently ESSENTIAL to purchase a ticket. I even asked the blenheim palace event staff and they said you would only need one to go in.

Thats odd - they scanned my ticket on the way in. Maybe when it started raining they couldn't be bothered?

Just got home from this event with my 11 yr old Son, first time we have been.
Absolutely amazing. Incredible show of Supercars. Great cars in the paddock, and the chance to hear them as owners came and went, revved them up, etc. Got there just after 9, which was worth it, as really busy when we were leaving at 12:30. Really cool and friendly people everywhere and, especially in the PistonHeads area.

Ditto what Dekka said. My first Sunday service was very enjoyable. Lots of stunning cars and a great location, just a shame the rain got involved.

The line up of cars in the Pistonheads area alone warranted a good hour or two of viewing time smile

Just got home, one of the best shows I've been too and the Sunday service area alone was worth the trip! Real shame about the weather as I imagine in the sun it's stunning, will be keeping an eye out for next years sign up list!

amazing line up of vehicles, shame about the weather. Glad I got there early as the queue to get in when I left about 12 was horrendous.

Bit odd getting in, I queued up only to be waved through (though I had shown my ticket and smiley) but other people were just getting waved through. I think the marshals had opened up the lane next to me a car or so behind me just for ticket holders which could explain why they were getting waved through.

Yep was a good morning glad we got there early, well had to as we were in the PH Owners Paddock!

Real shame about the rain, we cut and run the Chimaera is not the most favourite of my cars to be out in the wet in!! smile

Look forward to seeing some of the photos others took.

As many have said, the weather ruined things. I was hoping to have a nose round the gardens and things once i'd looked at the cars, but after a few laps in the rain it gets a bit tiring.

Hopefully next year will be a nicer day as the turn out of cars was amazing and a great venue.

I really enjoyed today and it's a stunning location, real shame about the weather. Glad we arrived at 9am so we got to walk around all the cars before it started to rain!

I bought the tickets to go inside the palace (as the OH came with me) so we could get out of the rain. Never realised it's where Winston Churchill was born, although, once you've seen the inside of one Castle / Palace you've seen them all. I now understand how the OH feels at a car show rofl

Shame I queued for a bacon roll to be told they've run out of bacon... that was at 10am! I'll never moan about the food truck at Goodwood again!

Some incredible cars there today, and not just in the actual show!

Hopefully the weather is better next year!

My car started out clean yesterday...

Few pics before the rain!

Thanks for arranging the event PH crew. My first Sunday Service and it will not be my last.

Lots of nice machinery in the PH paddocks and some very nice machines in the main show.

Shame it rained, left early because of that.

Strange about the tickets. I arrived at 9.00 and there were no staff anywhere to be seen so drove straight into the grounds and parked up. Didn’t get challenged for my ticket at all.

Good job the email said to turn up between 07:00 and 09:00, gave us the chance to look around and get some photo's before it started raining ( arrived at about 07:50 )

Thought the organisation was dreadful ( BP's not PH's ). People were just parking anywhere and blocking everyone in. No ticket checks, could have just wandered in.

Best bit was when I was standing next to my car and some numpty in a rent-a-van side-swiped a van in front of my Aston then kept driving straight toward my pride and joy. I stood in front of him and yelled, getting him to stop about 6 inches from the side of my car.

What with the rain and lack of organisation and the terrifying driving I called it quits about 11:00. Glad I did, the traffic was 'interesting', glad I didn't arrive later. Bet it was even more interesting when everyone else left.

Great day out despite the rain, was parked up in my white C63 wagon in the PH area.

Shame about the BP staff who were pretty useless at validating tickets.

Given that you did require a ticket, I guess it's the Hinesh thing purchase one however they should have really been much more strict as it's the principle!
