Hi guys.

Thanks for another cracking Sunday Service!

If anyone is intrested, here are some of the photos I took. Only on my iPhone but some of them turned out pretty good.

Hi guys,

Thanks for all the photos / videos of the session, some really stonking vehicles on show.

I was in the 10.45 session with the Alfa, what a car!

I was in the black E46 M3 making a right mess of things. I know it's a fast car but I've never driven it in anger really so it was very a much a journey into the dark for me. Really enjoyed it...want more now.
My foot was to the floor on the brakes by the end and my brake warning came on so I came in a lap or two early.

Big shout out to everyone in the session for being so great on and off track, and really sorry if I got in your way / cocked it up.

Thanks too to all the organisers and Silverstone crew!

Here are a couple of photographs that I snapped of cars mentioned in this thread... I've got several others from the car park and earlier sessions if anyone's interested.

Thanks, I'll steal that picture.

I was in the 11:55 session in my grey Z4, first time using it on track and I was pleasantly surprised despite having far too much tyre pressure. Definitely need some better brakes before next time...

Some footage uploaded here, ignore the dodgy chat... https://youtu.be/haffk44pBjw
Thanks for sharing your footage - that's me at 21:50 - 22:17. Not one of my best laps (made the apex a few times, just not that time!)
You looked to be going pretty well, it was good to have a bit of a chat in the pits too.

Ditto for me in the silver one, underrated track cars me thinks...
Definitely underrated, looking back at the video, my quickest lap was in the 1:13's, which I'm pretty pleased with for my first run out in a standard Z4 with 2 people in, hopefully with some better brakes it might be slightly quicker next time smile

Dodgy chat? I'm not sure it was that dodgy, someone definitely has great taste in Golf R colours... Not that I'm biased.

The Z4 was going well, sounded great, shame I couldn't disappear off as predicted.
I noticed a slightly spongy brake pedal just after the TVR/Subaru snafu at the first corner (unsurprisingly) and decided to back off for a little bit and let them cool. Just nice to see it on camera at all to be honest.
Haha I may have had to delete the first out laps and the in lap to be safe... The R did look very smart and nicely composed on track too! Thanks, the Z4 went better than I expected to be honest!

Also forgot to mention, had an enjoyable time chasing down the black Glanza (I think). Anyone know what power it was running?

There was hardly anything in it between that and my DC2 on the 11:20.
Thats my mates one, he's running 250

And another view of the 10.45 session... Seemed to be the busiest one... This is a good video to watch if you're planning a drive around Silverstone... The instructions from my passenger are amazing...

Thanks for capturing me get maggots & becketts completely wrong @ 23.30 laugh

Yet another cracking day on track!
Indeed well played in the A3. I enjoyed watching your lines (TVR) I’m looking forward to the next... the way the instructors at Briefing were sucking through their teeth when they said it’s greasy and I told them what car I was in. Made me very pedestrian through and out of bends. Still that’s what learning is all about.

Thanks PH crew - enjoyable Sunday morning out as always. Echo an earlier post - the intermediate group out at 9.00 was fun - good mix of cars and respectful driving overall. Had a good few laps mixing it with the black Golf Clubsport S. That looked a fun car to drive from where I was sitting (grey 996). My ugly duckling behaved itself too which was a relief. No evidence of IMS failure or cylinder bore scoring this time out :-)

Thanks for a great day PH, once again an awesome morning at Silverstone. Easily my favourite SS of the year!

Was out on the 10:45 Novice session in the Grey Accord, had a good few laps with a couple of S2000's and really enjoyed myself. Great to push myself and the car more and more each lap, definitely gained some good track experience.

The Alfa, M135i and those two 911's were munching the session biggrin The Viper was my favourite of the day!

Got a few pictures but not many! https://flic.kr/s/aHsm7Ybv3E

This was me smile (Cleaned her last night, Shropshire B-Roads this morning didn't help)

I was in the S2000 that started just behind you from the pit lane. I have some good go pro footage of me following you. I should have it up on YouTube soon!

Also looking forward to seeing the footage, brief glimpse of my car in videos from Merc and Alfa so far but they're quickly past on straights! So hopefully in your video and maybe can see it in some corners tongue out
