Where do we park if you're coming anyway as you live close and aren't on the list (on the reserve list)?

Dont wanna be parking in the filthy overflow car park :/

For those, like me, who are unlikely to be able to climb up the list in time to make the 150 point and are still local there's another breakfast meet less than 7 miles away on the same day.

I left it way too late to sign up for this SS, must be age.

So I was on the list bringing my Competition Orange 2016 Mustang GT.

Washed it yesterday to be ready for Sunday and took a few pics to stick on eBay as sadly it had to go due to moving back to London after Christmas.

I did try to sell it in the winter this year but little interest after 6 weeks.

Ad went on eBay at 2.30pm, chap called at 3pm, he arrived at mine at 11.30pm after a 5 hour journey from Chester, money in bank by 11.45pm and I watched it drive away at Midnight.

Still in shock and then I realised this morning that I was supposed to be taking it to Denbies with my boys.

I have taken myself off the list BTW.

Gosh, only just seen this. I live 1/2 mile away! List is full but I’ll still pop along.
If anyone wants to combine it, there is also a small classic car meet from 8:30 at the Surrey oaks in Newdigate. This is only a 15 minute drive from Denbies and the breakfast you can get there is in a different league to Denbies (which is kind of like a typical garden centre cafe). I’m going there first and will pop into the SS.

Last time I looked I was something like #170+, I'm now in the 130's on the list and have made the cut but don't have the email invite. Will pop along and have a look which is what I was planning to do anyway. I guess PHers will have their own area to park and the rest will be open parking for anyone

Finally made it on to the list. Not bad as we started at 209. So could I have some joining instructions please?

The event official time is 0900-1300 but, realistically, what time will people turn up and what time will they leave..?

Will be there. One ( minor ) gripe...I don't have a printer which means I have to go to my work to print the thing out...can't we have a phone based thing and enter the 21st century ?

It's not the end of the world, just an inconvenience

I also don't have a printer. I assuming holding my phone up at the windscreen with the pdf showing will suffice.

Failing that, pointing out i'm driving a V12 should help! (it's the most sleeper V12 out there so is usually missed unless pointed out!)

A bit blooming chilly and a tad slidey in my Westy!

Great meet. Hopefully we can get back to Denbie’s in the Summer...would be great with a BBQ on the go too!

Those tyres on the Westfield were a brave choice this morning.

Really enjoyable eclectic mix of cars (I was GT silver metallic C2S 991.2).

Nice turnout, very cold but a full English helpedsmile

Hope the driver of M3 ’parked' in a hedge on the A25 was ok, I'm fairly sure I saw it at Denbies earlier. Police motorbike was in attendance.

Great selection of cars on show both new and old. Great location in stunning surroundings and would be great in the summer. Nice to get up close and personal to some fantastic machines. My favourites had to be the Forester WRX and the New Civic Type R. The RS4 avants that arrived in convoy looked tidy.

Nice to be a part of an event that was well organised and didn't feature idiots revving and causing trouble and giving a bad rep to all.

My car was the Clio RS 172 CUP(previously owned by Ben Lowden) tucked away in the corner.

Great variety of cars there. Only just thawing out, decided it was better to remove the iced up plexi-glass rear screen than try scraping it so the targa had to come off too ! Interesting selection on sale from Mole Valley if you had a spare £40k - Aston, TVR, Porsche or Nissan ?

The two old girls in the GT40 made me smile, proper Ab-Fab look.
