Great morning, big thanks to PH towers for organising! Little bit nippy, but nothing a cuppa and bacon roll couldn't sort...
Did seem low on numbers, although we were kind of scattered in the second car park and alongside the building.
I would like to know how that tank got there, though? Was it found and dug up?
And a silly pic from me...

Such a shame I was on the list but as said earlier I washed the Mustang on Thurs for the SS and to stick pics on eBay.
It was sold and collected by midnight the same day.
Were there any other Mustangs there?
There was a brand new red one with some graphics on the side there too It was sold and collected by midnight the same day.

Some good pictures on here (as I'm pretty crap at taking pictures myself). I think it might have been the earliest I've gotten out of bed on a Sunday for years too. It was good. But I think I came a bit to early, and left a bit to early as well. First SS as well.
I was a bit surprised to see a Aston with UTC aerospace on it though.

Just found this on the Wiki
A single Covenanter gun–tank is preserved at The Tank Museum, Bovington, in the United Kingdom. It is displayed in the markings it had during the War when it served with the 13th/18th Royal Hussars, part of the 9th Armoured Division. For unknown reasons, it was buried after the war on a farm near Dorking. In 1977 it was discovered, recovered, restored and put on display at the Bovington museum in 1985.[21][2] The Tank Museum also has the turret from an early Covenanter pilot model.[22]
A second Covenanter tank was recovered in May 2017 from the same farm, now the site of Denbies vineyard.[23] The partially buried, wrecked hulls of two other tanks may be seen at Titchwell Marsh in Norfolk, UK.[24] Now a Royal Society for the Protection of Birds nature reserve, the area was formerly a tank gunnery range and the Covenanters were likely used as targets.[25]
Two Covenanter Bridgelayers are preserved in Australia – one at the Royal Australian Armoured Corps Tank Museum, Puckapunyal, Victoria, and one at the 1st/15th Royal New South Wales Lancers Lancer Barracks and Museum at Parramatta, New South Wales.[26]
Thanks for the info that explains it. There were the two ladies in the Polo as well, they turned up quite early..
[/quote] Quite right too! Though to be fair I did a double take. More ladies needed to dilute the woolly hats! Awesome car though never seen Ford GT at a meet before. Hopefully it will make an appearance at Goodwood next time.
