It's driving like that, that threatens the very existence of the events that we organise. We spend a lot of time and effort organising these events, for free, yet there's always a select few that disregard the rules because they think it looks 'cool' to drive dangerously leaving our events.
If you were one of the drivers that left like this, don't bother coming back to a PistonHeads Sunday Service. We all like to have a spirited drive but there's a time and a place; leaving our events is not it.
On the plus side, we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves with a great turn out and an incredibly eclectic mix of cars. Thanks to those that came along and drove sensibly!
Cursory search of his name on PH shows he has quite the colourful driving history https://www.pistonheads.com/gassing/topic.asp?t=47... 10 years driving
12 points on licence for 40 in a 30. 56 in a 40. 96 on motorway. 44 in a 30.
6 crashes 2 serious
1st tangled up with a petrol tanker whilst overtaking it on A27
2nd hit a huge oaktree after my sierra xr4x4 with brand new turbo conversion came on boost and tried clibing a tree at a silly speed. i was young and couldnt handle the power and ended up in hospital for 3 weeks with broken ribs smashed up cheek bones multiple head injuries a broken arm broken leg. so id say im a crap driver. never been banned tho."
That post was 10 years ago, seems some people never learn, changed his user name since then, can't be sure but there was only one E34 signed up for the list.....
And I actually don't mind being "that guy" that calls you out, because I don't want d1cks like you to ruin a great event for everyone else.

I wonder if he was the same tool who left the BMW Sunday service with a heavy dose of right foot.
it's exactly him, look at the number plate, the front view at about 12.50 then look at the handy photo he uses as his youtube, pic of his BMW with the same number plate M765vakWe had a great time in the devil fuelled mk7 - met at 7am on the A3, came down in a convoy of a GT4, 2 m2s, c63, imprezza ( would've been a cobra too but I think Adam had GoPro issues when we left..or maybe the screen was frozen ? ). Then met with a 458, a few more AMGs, a few GTRs..none of whom drove like idiots, all perfectly well behaved ( plus no one wanted to inspect any fields as it was nippy )
Amazing mix of cars too
Thanks to all at PH, looking forward to next year

Thanks to everybody for bringing down such a variety of interesting, brightly coloured, and rare machinery! Enjoyed the drive down, NAAFI wagon, walking around and hunting down a red Elise on the A272 after the event.
P.S. Would any kind person (or those guys videoing cars on the exit) happen to have a shot of my Z4M Coupe at all? Really wanted a photo to remember the occasion, but entirely forgot to, whilst busy observing everyone else's...
Our favourites:
> Toyota 4X4 camper.
> Autumn bronze Evora.
> Corsa SXI (my first car, to see one here was brilliant. Were these 3 or 4 cylinders..??!)
> FD2 Civic.
> Colourful S2000's.
Earlier that morning...
Merry Christmas to you all. Look forward to more events in 2018!

I must appologise for leaving like i did. But if you want to come and say something to me rather than hiding behind your keyboards calling me names please feel free. All in all tho was a good morning.
Ok then.ecsrobin said:

A lot of people missed the Control Tower cafe being open for breakfast. Great veggie brekkie and good coffee. Bit better than standing in the cold!
Busiest SS at Goodwood I have seen.
The what??!?! Busiest SS at Goodwood I have seen.
Yep, better signage next time please!!!

Blue Scirocco?
I was two cars behind in a blue R, when that occurred. Made a nice explosion. About 30 seconds later i almost hit one too.
That's me. I saw you drive past I was two cars behind in a blue R, when that occurred. Made a nice explosion. About 30 seconds later i almost hit one too.
On Semi slicks and damp/frosty roads I wasn't even going very fast as you probably saw. Just chatting away to my mate and BOOM
Sods law isn't it.
I was really worried at first as my external oil cooler is down exactly where I hit the stupid thing which is why I pulled over, but luckily it must have been a very fat squishy pheasant
Glad you avoided your impact!
Apologies for being late (staying at Butlins with no computer doesn't help!) but it was perhaps the most enjoyable Sunday Services i ever attended.
WARNING! This could be a long read.
I got there nice & early (7:40am no less) & to my surprise, there was about 20 or so there already by the time i walked to the pit garages (i was driven in believe it or not!) & then, the mad rush started. From there, the verity of cars that ended up coming became apparent.
By the time i finally left the pit garages & got onto the track, the place was filling up nicely & i couldn't stop taking pics of everything! Yes even you with the Zafira sir.
The more i walked (i did walk what felt like 100 miles!) the better the selection got, especially the start finish straight. That Hi-Ace offroader, a lovely Rolls Royce Phantom, a 60's Ford Thunderbird, TVR Cerbera, four Nissan GTR's, a classic Mini, two Ferrari GTC/4 Lusso's & later an FF & then there's PH Towers current fleet.
And it carried on & on, supercars (McLaren 570S Spider, Ford GT, 911 GT3's) , classics (BMW 2002, Ford Mustang, Saab 900 Turbo, hot hatches, everyday normal cars & even a few "You Tuber" owned cars (SeenThroughGlass who made a really nice video on the day even though his Ferrari felt unwell & AdamC3046 & his dream come true Cobra).
When i posted an image to instagram later in the day, i found the perfect words to describe the day & PHSS's in general.
I even came to the track day the day before too & that was rather relaxing & enjoyable as well.
God i've spoke too much! Time for pics!

Verity is the spice of life. And Pistonheads Legendary Sunday Services do it better then anyone!
Says it all really! And the people i talked to were great & friendly too, especially the guy who showed me his Heartge E30 325 Convertible at the beginning of the day (there was more E30 & E34 BMW's there then i've seen on the road in the last couple of years!) & one or two others who see me at Goodwood so often they think i live there!I even came to the track day the day before too & that was rather relaxing & enjoyable as well.

Some great photos there Rob! Was nice to meet you and we were all impressed with your commitment to give up your weekend to spend both days at Goodwood. Merry Christmas and see you next year! NorthernSky said:
