Thanks very much for organising this fantastic event. We had a great time, ice to catch up with friends.

Happy Christmas

Saw you on the side of the A27, just before the tunnel heading towards Brighton. Hope everything was OK? Right dodgy place to have a breakdown!

Great morning however! A lot busier this year? Thanks to PH towers for organising!
That was me!

I had a connection problem to the lift pump for the swirl pot. Nothing drastic, really. Just a PITA. Going to change the pump anyway this week.
Saw a few people gawping at the throttle bodies - and the noise it makes.
Oh, Lexus V8 fitted btw.....

Just a heads up for anyone not too local

If your coming westbound along the A27 towards goodwood you’ll come past fontwell after the last roundabout around 2 miles later the road drops down and banks right and then climbs you’ll have trees on your right blocking the view of the opposite carriageway. As soon as the trees clears there is a centre part where the camera van loves to sit. By the time you see it it’s usually too late. Typically out on goodwood events etc.

Always worth just backing off so easy to forget how fast your wafting along.
Too cold for Plod this morning or should I say the civvies than man such traps. Probably no money for Sunday double overtime. I have never seen the van there on GBC days or even Revival/FoS events BUT I ALWAYS assume it will be there so please heed our friends warning.

Bit weird fingering other peoples tyres?

It wss a good morning out. I hit a pheasant on the way. Luckily it didn't cause any damage.
Did the pheasant improve the look of your car?
Isn’t a pheasant lithe car equivalent of red bull? It gives your car wings...
Given the dead deer lying in a bloody mess at the side of the road as we drive there this morning id much rather have the pheasant!
That is very true.

I unfortunately have hit two deer in the past in the Scirocco.

I think I have the footage on my dashcam. I'll go grab it later haha.

Followed you for a bit up the A27 till you went off up Bury Hill. Sounded great, glad to see you made it.

And yes, the throttle bodies are sexy cloud9

I think it was more trying to stop someone maybe having a blow out and having a huge accident hurting themselves or some other poor sod

Thanks for putting on a great morning. Always an amazing variety of cars. Thanks also for asking Ford re their car. I still have my fingers crossed.

For everyone at Pistonheads, and the members, a wish for a Very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year.

Fantastic morning out, if a bit nippy. Huge volume and variety of cars made for a lovely and interesting wander around.

Thanks to PH and the Goodwood marshalls for giving up their time. Merry Xmas.

A lot of people missed the Control Tower cafe being open for breakfast. Great veggie brekkie and good coffee. Bit better than standing in the cold!
Busiest SS at Goodwood I have seen.

Another great morning from Pistonheads, a good turnout but very cold. The only downside was Goodwood only providing the NAAFI wagon for food and drink so a big line appeared.

In other news I think a few members need to check their tyres, a few close to the limit and one car with chunks out the sidewall.

And this is everything I love about Pistonheads:

Also noticed the turbocharged S2000 had one of its rear tyres on backwards
