Our final event of the year was a lovely conclusion to 12 really great runs this year!
Thanks everyone for joining!
There will be more runs in 2020, also some trackdays, Go Karting and why not trips abroad!
This thread is now 2 years old and quite long, so starting a new one soon.
If you'd like to join us next year, just drop me an email!
Hope the members liked their calendars!
Have a Merry Christmas everyone!
PS: will bring some colours in 2020!

Any more planned now things are getting back to normal?
Hey Dan, Did you receive my DM at the weekend ? Do join us next time!I'll just make the most of this to make an announcement.
Been doing these drives for over 2 years now, things have gone well,
but I have to limit the numbers on the road so driving in a convoy is manageable.
I've had a lot of demand, and turning people down is always a shame. So I have launched a new event:
Our RWD & Lightweight Breakfast Pub Meets!
To become a member, the rules are the same as our drives: RWD & Lightweight 2 Seater / 2 + 2s...
If it's of interest drop me a DM !
At this stage, the current locations are West & East Sussex and Surrey
PS: With regards to the rules, we are strict on the 2 seaters & lightweight RWD criterias - no exceptions.
It's heartbreaking to decline someone who's not only a nice guy & petrolhead but also has a really great car... I'm really sorry.
But for many reasons, we have to stick to the rules. Thank you for your understanding!

What defines as lightweight? BHP per tonne?
Hi there, Thank you for your interest, the lightweight criteria is super tricky... how long is a piece of string, so to speak.
To take an example, a Corvette isn't exactly lightweight, but a Z06 is a fully dedicated sport cars. Basically, we've drawn the line at 2 seaters only.
(Apologies this criteria isn't in the title of the topic... it'd just be too long)
Thanks again for asking, do you want to drop me a DM ?
Thank you for your interest in our group!

The lightweight factor is very difficult to define, a real nightmare.
But we feel that weapons like an M2, and M3 etc - amazing as they are -
don't really go with the lightweight factor like, say a Fiat X1/9 or Renault Spider does, if you know what I mean.

I've attached a photo of our last meet which I hope illustrates what I'm trying to say! Thanks again
